    Got a few calls from this number and I picked it up.  I had to wait a few seconds before someone spoke. I could tell right away it was a cell phone call since it sounded like the person was driving in their car.  It was a woman saying she was with an Energy Coalition and wanted to speak to the person who handles the electric bill.  I said he wasn't here and what did she want.  She informed me that she wanted to speak to the person who handles the bill to talk about PECO lowering the rate.  But she obviously doesn't work for PECO and was calling from a cell phone.  I hung up.  I would be very leary about giving out information to these people.  First, they are calling from a cell phone that doesn't list the name of the company on the Caller Id.  And she didn't ask for anyone by name.  This smells fishy to me.  Plus we are on the state and national do not call list.  BEWARE!

    Me too, got a call from this number and a woman said that PECO was raising their rates and that if I wanted to keep paying the same I needed to subscribe or something like that. I told her that I needed to investigate that further, she told me it was ok and I hung up. This was like two weeks ago, and they have called back several times, but I haven't answered since. They don't leave any messages. Oh, and I also said the person responsible wasn't home (I lied) and she still insisted on registering me.

    Just got a phone call from this number this AM. They said they were with PECO and wanted to give us a 12% discount. They wanted to speak to the person in charge of the bill. I lied and told him that he was unavailable. He asked who I was and I stated I was his finance. He said he could speak with me (How does he know Im truly his finance). He told me that he wanted me to subscribe asap to get a savings on our next bill before the next meter reading. He said its been on the news and they sent information. I asked if they could send us more information because we never received anything. He stated it came with your PECO bill, most people just pay the bill and dont look at the advertisements attached ( I can honestly say I am like that). He said he could assist me if I just went and got my last PECO bill. I said I was unable to get it at the moment and he said hell send information via email to me. I gave him my spam email and then he asked if my fiances name was something it wasnt. I thought it was a scam...I called my father up asking if he has heard anything because he is constantly listening to the news and he hasnt.

    Received a call from this number; came up as "Berwick" along with the number. Did not answer, after 4 rings, caller hung up. Have been several break-ins in our area...possibly fishing to see who is home and who isn't???

    You guys are all meatballs. this company started saving me money last month. PECO is going to raise our rates and all you folks can think of is the phone calls you are receiving with no caller id. Answer your phones the right way and pay attention to what they are saying.

    This was a call back # given to me by a Chris Fertally. He said he was calling from PPL, and that he was assigned to our account. He said he would be able to save us  12% on our next bill if we acted quickly before the next meter reading. He wanted me to supply him with our name, address, and PPL account # from our latest bill. I told him I had dial up service on the computer, so I would have to call him back with the information. The caller id showed that he was calling from Vitelity LLC at (484 397-1933), I hung up and called PPL, they had no knowledge of this man or the company he was calling from.  Oh, and there was an extention # 1029 that goes with the (570 218-4633)

    Call from this # to a federally and PA state listed "Do Not Call #".  Hung up when I told him it was a cell phone and before I could tell them about being on the list and getting their infor to report them.

    they are one of PPL electrics supplier's...its just a cold call and they are legit. NO WORRIES PEOPLE. Just tell them you arent interested if you arent and they wont call back again.

    This is nutty. BUT I get it. We got a crazy call yesterday saying that they were coming to take us to jail, that we have all these bills owed & etc etc etc. DONT EVER FILL OUT A PAYDAY LOAN>>>>>EVER NO MATTER HOW HARD UP YOU ARE FOR CASH.TEHY JUST SELL YOUR INFO TO THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE. THAT # WAS 619-320-0434. THEY GOT A NICE YELLING AT.IT WASNT PRETTY. THEN I REPORTED THEM & RE-REGISTERED ALL MY #'S ON WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV

    BUT THESE PEOPLE ARE COOL. THEY ARE JUST TELEMARKETERS. NOT THE HARASSING TYPE AT ALL. I HAVE TALKED TO THEM BEFORE. :)

WE REPRESENT SEVERAL LICENSED SUPPLIERS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION (PUC). THIS IS NOT A SCAM, IS DOES NOT COST YOU A SINGLE [***] DIME. THE INFORMATION WAS SENT WITH YOUR BILL ALMOST EVERY MONTH SINCE 1999 DEPENDING ON WHICH UTILITY COMPANY YOU ARE WITH. IT HAS BEEN ON THE NEWS, NOT CONSISTENTLY AND NOT LATELY BECAUSE THIS PROGRAM IS 12 YEARS OLD AND IT'S NOT NEWS ANYMORE.     i work for this company, and have worked for several other that do the same thing..

    we are not "telemarketers" per se.. by definition, telemarkets are people that call you and ask you to buy a product or service. we are more like customer enrollment reps. this does not cost you a penny. it is FREE and it legitimately lowers your electric bill. if you are rude and hang up on us the dialers will put you back in the system and call you back. if you are willing to listen, then politely asknot to be called again, we will respect that. i'm so [***] tired of people treating phone reps like garbage when we are just trying to HELP YOU.

    THE DO NOT CALL LIST IS FOR TELEMARKETERS, IDIOT! LISTEN TO THEM, THEY'RE A LEGITIMATE COMPANY CALLING  BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T FOLLOW UP LIKE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO. trust me, it would be in your best interest to just listen for 3 minutes.

    see the problem is that the human brain only registeres about 20% of information communicated verbally. what this person said is that he was calling from (supplier) about your ppl bill. the supplier is not associated with the utility company. you need to ask ppl about the energy choice program and they will explain the program and tell you that it's legitimate, but they cannot give information about the supplier. not to mention the fact that most of the people you talk to on the phones with the utility company are highly undertrained, so you have to spell everything out for them.
