This guy "Brandon" also contacted me in Alaska about buying my car sight unseen. He said he would send me a certified check and someone else will pick up the car. Defiantly a scam, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!

Same thing, Brandon saw craigslist posting and sent text.  I sent back text saying phone was on fcc do not call list and any futher calls or texts will be prosecuted!

getting text messages from this number on all the adds that I have on craigslist, I will not reply. its probably a bot of some sort. never reply to these things because the bot scans through craigs list and sends you a message. when you reply is when they collect your email or phone number. then thats when they can sell your info or keep using it for other scams.

We have also received texts form this guy.  The first one was at 11:30pm when we were in bed, asking what the condition of the vehicle was, we had posted pictures in the ad.  Poorly written text wanting to send us a Bank Check... SCAM!!!!

Texts me several times saying he would buy my item sight unseen.  Price and condition no problem.  Would send cashier's check by mail.  Check would clear my bank and then he would send a shipper to pick up the merchandise.  Sounded strange.  Checked out his number on line.  Read your post and got wise.
