The caller from this number hung up after answering machine picked up. I called back and it was busy.

The caller claims to be from Honeywell Alarms. Very aggressive.  They are also using 587-601-0283. In a post to this other number the reporter claims that these guys are a group of burglars who are checking which homes do not have security alarms. If you do answer, I suggest you do not give them any information.

This caller said he was from Honeywell Home Security. As far as I could tell, he just wanted to know what security I already had on my home. Don't talk to this fraud!

Caller hung up when I did not answer.

Called last night. No VM left

Called today asking me if I have a security system in my home (very strong middle eastern accent). As if I am going to tell a stranger any info concerning my security system! He tried to say he was from Honeywell Security. I asked to be removed from call list. His phone was cutting in & out the whole time. Criminal scammers. Probably trying to scope out homes with no security. Unreal!

Received a call from this number everyday for the last week so I answered it today.  They claim to be from Honeywell selling security systems.  I work with Honeywell companies regularly, they have told me they don't install systems anymore.  I proceeded to question the individual on the phone who then passed me to his Supervisor.  I managed to get the Supervisor to admit they are a distributor of the Honeywell product but wouldn't tell me the proper company name.  I asked him to take me off the calling list then asked him for his phone number, he did give me a cell phone number whether it is real or not I haven't tried it yet.  Once I got his number I said I would be passing it along to the RCMP to investigate, he didn't like that to much and started to backpedal.  I am sure he is out getting a new phone as I am typing this.
I am so sick and tired of these guys trying to scam hard working people out of money they've earned.  Never once would I trust a lying crook like this to come into my home and install a security system.

Don't answer this number. They call to see if you are home and are using this for burglaries.  Connected security system company that is bogus. Beware!

I missed a call from this number.  When I called back they answered, "alarm reporting station" and it sounded like a call centre in the background.  I told them I missed a call from that number and they put me on hold and I hung up at that point.  If they're criminals they're putting in a lot of effort which is kinda scary.

Just got the call but was able to check the number on this site before (not!) picking up. Let's hear it for google.

Just got a call from this number, picked up and said hello, got a recording saying good-bye!  Weird!

Received a call from this number.  I answered and immediately hung up, then added the number to my blocked callers list.  I called the number back after hiding my number with *67 and was surprised that somebody actually picked up and said "How can I help you?", but without identifying the company.  The person had a strong east Indian accent, and there was a lot of 'call centre' noise in the background.

My phone rang twice. I picked up said hello three times and a recording came on saying"goodbye".  Absolutely annoying and disrespectful!!!!  Not the first time from this caller.

Scammers! It used to be fun to mess with these guys but it seems like there's too many of these types trying the same old tired scam and the call quality and overall believability is suffering terribly because of these rank amateurs. Seriously, doesn't anyone take pride in their work as a fake security system telemarketer anymore? The culprit is too much outsourcing and not enough local initiative in the age old art of [***]. They just don't make phone scams / scammers as good as they used to...

My wife just received this call today.  When she said hello, no one answered.  I suspect same old scam. Read all other feedback with smiles, but sadly some people respond, and why scammers exist.  Love love love this forum!

Yes, they are rather pathetic at what they are trying to do. When I did not follow their script and I just asked them why they were calling they hung up on me.

This is the first number this number has called.  They never leave a message. I've added the number to my caller ID and named it SCAM.  The next time they call, I won't have to investigate it again on this site.
