This person David calls and says that he is sending someone over to collect money for his client.  I do not owe anyone money!

Insisted on knowing who the business owner was after I said the contact on file no longer worked with us. Wouldn't tell me what he was calling about after I asked what he wanted to discuss so I could direct his call to the right person. He hung up.

Some [***] called looking for an employee assuming he was the owner regarding a personal legal matter, Wouldn't give me a number to call back then hung up. Looking for the business owner

Also got a call from this guy. Desperate and quick with wanting information

Aggressively demanding to talk to the owner wouldn't let me know the nature of the call but did get his name "Frank Gooding". I hung up, called the number back and had some fun. Shame really, they don't enjoy the scam themselves.

As the post above  indicated, same scam. "Frank Gooding". Aggressive, demanded the Owner's cell phone number. I hung up and called back and a voice rather like the original caller said, "Customer Service" and I asked for Frank. The phone went dead and 10 seconds later my phone rang, and once again the parasite known as "Frank" was aggressively demanding information. He claimed it was a private legal matter. I gave Frank some sexual advice and hung up. I then reported the occurrence to the Edmonton Police Service. They had no record of this scam, but recommended Phone Busters to see if nationwide they were working this. To bad the act of drawing and quartering scoundrels has fallen by the wayside!

Called and starts with "yeah let me talk to (owners name)" I asked who was calling "Al" I asked Al what is your last name and where are you calling from? "Al Slotter with Slotter & Sons" I handed the phone to the owner, told him who was on the phone, he answered it and 2 seconds later just hung up. These people call to promote them selves as bill collectors that have ways to get past the front line and get the job done. I knew it was a [***] call when I handed the phone over, my boss just sometimes likes to screw with these people if he's having a slow day and its entertaining.

"I am a deadbeat [***] that has no life, and call people to harass them about who is the owner for who knows what reason or who cares for that matter. I have a little wiwi and only get satisfaction from bothering honest and decent people trying to make a living by advertising their services". THAT IS HOW AL OR FRANK OR WHATEVER HIS NAME IS SHOULD START THE CONVERSATION. signed: just another annoyed business owner.
