Woman called from this number with East-Indian accent.  Said she was calling from Microsoft and for me to get in front of my computer for further directions.  I told her NO and hung up the phone.

Woman with asian accent, could not understand a word she said. Kept saying no and hung up on her.

Got call. Did not take call. They left no message. Since the "Microsoft" folks have been calling me from various numbers for the past week, I would guess it's them.

Computer voice said this was Bank of America Security, " Your debit card has been locked. Please press 1 to be transferred to our fraud department"

The thing is, I don't have a Bank of America debit card.

I hung up.

Received a call from the same number.  They told me my computer was infected with a serious virus and they could help me if I could get in front of my computer.  I could barely understand what they were saying because of the eastern accent.  It was too early in the morning and I told them to call back later when I was awake.  They agreed to call back at 08:30 AM.  I ran all of my anti-virus programs while waiting and nothing was found.  I can't wait for them to call me again.  There is no way I will allow them to access my computer either remotely or through me.  Sounds very fishy!  OBTW, I checked the number on my caller ID and the call originates from somewhere in Mississippi.  Of course, they could have spoofed the caller ID system.

Could hear the sound of 1000 people in the background of a telemarket sweat shop probably near gandahar India
Says my computer is having problems.

I answered - no one talked on the other line.  

This is a well documented scam.  Their intent is to plant software on you computer so they can slave it to their purposes.  If y'all would quit answering the phone when you don't recognize the number and turn off your answering machines they will soon quit calling to an number apparently not it service.  I got one call from this number two days ago, first robo call in over a week.

Receive countless unending calls from these foreign scammers but I NEVER answer an unidentified call.
DNC enforcers please do your job and shut these scammers down.  Why does this go on and on and on.  If the calls were forwarded to the people who are paid to enforce these laws, it would end in a New York second.

I received a phone call from a male person with an eastern indian accent.  He said that I had malicious activity taking place on my computer and viruses were being downloaded on my computer.  He asked if I was sitting at my computer. I said no!!!
He wanted me to confirm my telephone number and let him work on my computer. I said no and hung up.

Someone needs to put a stop to scams like this and catch these people who are trying to rip honest people off and lock them up!!!!!!!!

Man called - said his name was Roger (haha) He had a thick Indian Accent.   He tried to tell me that my computer had reached out to him for help because malware had invaded it.   I tried to respond but as soon as I spoke he kept pressing the dial buttons to drown me out.   The call may show Country: USA
Location: Mississippi (Hattiesburg, Jackson, Meridian) but he sure wasn't from the south.

Man with heavy Indian accent, supposedly named"James" called to try to sell ad space in local phone company's yellow pages. Gt some information from another family member

Called 1st time said he was from Century Link phone co. and wanted to give me discount on long distance at my business, but could I please give him the phone numbers.  Told him if he was my phone co. he would have them. Told him good bye and hung up. he just called my back, apologizing that our call got disconnected last week!! freaking funny!!! I told him i was way too busy to talk to him and hung up.  same strong indian accent with lots of background noise

Same, as others, Just answer in any other language than English and they will cancel the call

I received a call from this number (indian accent man) telling me my computer has been downloading "something" I couldn't understand him.  I knew it was a fake so I just said, hold on let me connect you with our police department.
