"marco" called me to offer me employment in the credit card collections business from home . I told him this was a private cell phone no.and was on the cellphone do not call list.  They bought me no. from some where. I was polite in the first call, and asked to have them remove my number from their list. He proceeded to argue with me that it was not and that I should not put my no. on online info requests, which I most certainly did not do at any web site remotely connected to online collections. I was then somewhat rude to him then I hung up. He subsequently called me back right away pretending to be a supervisor, I was not fooled and told so. Then I was very rude and hung up again. he then called a third time and i threatend him with having my lawyer call him.

Marco asked if I still live in (city); no. still in (state)? yes.  I'd expressed an interest in online work some time back (true, but not with visa or anything connected to it), he said, and asked if I am still interested.  Haltingly answered perhaps.  He asked if I am working.  No.  Am I retired? I answered but said he asked too many questions and it is afterall after 9 p.m. and I asked for further identification from him and specifically for whom he works.   Oh, you don't like being asked questions he said.  Then asked, Well, do you like being hung up on?  And then he hung up.   Bizarre and rude.

The call was to a cell phone.  I am/supposed to be on a no call list.

yes.  mine was a call from a Credit cars collector also..........I hung up on them!!!!!!!!!!  I know I'm on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"

He meant to not put your information in ANY information request sites, not just those about collections.  Online information is typically sold to many other companies and those sellers make a LOT of money by selling your email, your phone number, and other such things.
