The message on the card is very misleading

"Sory we missed you!"

I got this too and also know there was no 1st or 2nd attempt. It appears their domain name was just registered in August 2013 which is also fishy. We got something like this before from a different company and called the number, it turned out just by calling they put us on their "welcome to the neighborhood" telemarketing list that they sell to a bunch of other companies. It was a nightmare and we were receiving calls from totally random companies for over a year!

Someone needs to stop these people!!!!!!!!    

Well I received a first notice that was placed in my door. It was addressed to a male whom I do not know and the address was not complete. It only had the house number and part of the city name along with a confirmation order number and was instructed to call. Looked suspicious. Glad I read these comments. I'm throwing it away!

I received the same postcard today in the mail but mine had the 1st attempt check marked.  

I got one of these cards today and i called number and entered the number provided. Im sure i will be getting telemarketing calls soon. I live in a pretty remote area, and today is the first day in a month or so that i have not been home for longer than an hour or two. Either that is a coincidence or whoever dropped this off has been watching my neighborhood.

I just got 1 of these things. How annoying. Its for austin, san Antonio, dallas area.

I was home when the second of these cards was delivered, the first was two weeks ago. The first one was fishy, so I never called. This time, I caught the slimy jerk dropping the card off. My dog barked at him like crazy, and I asked what it was about. All he said was "I'm just the delivery guy, call the Phoenix number." Obviously he delivered nothing other than this worthless card. I told him I was taking down his license plate and not to come back, since he had no valid reason to be on my property.

I wouldn't suggest visiting their privacy policy link (I posted the info below), as it most likely does something malicious to gain access to your information as they state that they collect your IP address, cookies, navigation history, etc. How would they collect your navigation history otherwise? The only thing to possibly glean from it is their opt-out email address (which is in itself fishy: Compass Deliverysurvey@gmail.com), which you would have to give them your email address and connect it to your home address which they may not already have.

Got a card in the door today. They now name themselves TOTAL HOME with their website in mice type at the bottom www.totalhomedelivery.net. Went to the website and they ask for the "confirmation ID" that was left on the card, didn't enter anything just closed the window.

As a side note, I bet they wet their pants when my 3 Dobermans went to the door barking their heads off. Too bad they didn't try to pry the door open, they would have been in for a big surprise.
