This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of VOIP numbers.  The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.

If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.

I got a call from this number prefaced by international dialling 011 and the message was not in service.  How did I get a call from a not in service number.  I think that it must be a fraudulent call.

it obviously says its the NDP on google

This is the British Columbia New Democratic Political Party street office phone number in Vancouver in 2020. It doesn't mean someone isn't spoofing it however. If  you got a  call from this number unrelated to politics then it probably is. It is conceivable that NDP was assigned this number sometime after the calls reported above, especially if someone called back and the number was not in service.

Google says it's NDP calling but on the Saturday of the Easter long weekend @ 4:30 pm - what would they have to say?
