Call came in as Wireless Caller.  IRS is filing suite scam again.  Apparently a new number.  Did leave voice mail.  At least it was a computer generated female voice and not an off-shore call center.

Called three times today all about 1-2 hours apart. Left the exact same voice mail each time claiming IRS is filing a complaint.

Blocking the number.

Called this morning, computer generated voice saying they were the IRS and this was the final call before they would seek legal action. The IRS NEVER calls you (and certainly not from a wireless number), they send you a letter by snail mail, but most people don't know this. It's a shame some people fall for scams like this.Most of the time I don't answer a number I don't recognize, but here's how to get back at them when you've finally had enough: Dial *67 (to block your number from them), then dial their number, but make sure it's a US area code and a toll free number so you don't get charged. Wait until they answer, then either scream loudly or blow a loud whistle into the phone. Sure, it's mean, but these [***] deserve it for preying on people to try to scam them. I did this a few weeks ago to some other idiot who called from another number and left the same IRS message. Within one hour of that call I tried the number again and they had disconnected their number.  I tried this 605 number this evening, and THIS one has been disconnected too. Too bad, Suckers, now you have lots of these messages out there, but no one can call you back so you can't scam anyone today. Who has the last laugh now?
