Got a call from this number on 10/15.  It was a recording stating "Hello, this is a service verification. We will try you again later".  They have called me every day since.  It is either a hang up when I answer or they call when I am at work and can't answer.  This morning they called and I got to talk to "Octavia" who wanted to confirm that I received my package.  I loudly responded that I knew it was a scam, to take me off their phone list, and that I was reporting them to the Do Not Call List.

They call daily. I don't answer.

I treat calls from this number and other similar calls the same.  I answer and if a recording, hang up. It never helps to leave your number to be taken off their calling list!  If there is actually someone on the line, I tell them I am the maid/babysitter, tell them I will get Mary/June/other to the phone, walk away after laying the phone down, and come back in about 5-10 minutes to hang it up.  I have no idea how long they hang on before they figure out nobody is coming.

Keep getting the call.  Someone looking to rob you home while you are away at work?  Must be a huge network.  I called the number back and got the same "service request message"  hung up.  I love caller ID

Just got a call from this number. They asked if I got their package yet? I asked what was in the package? They answered that it was goodies from soap company's. So with that "I said to remove me from their list or else they will be reported". They said that they would do that. Let's see if they call again. They probably will.

I'm on the so called "Do Not Call" list yet still get this call two or more times a day for the last three weeks!

Getting calls from this number weekdays and weekends on cell. I do not answer and no message is left on voicemail.

Today, I called the number back and got "Thank you for calling customer service. If you would like your number removed removed from our call list, please enter your telephone number, area code first. You will be required to confirm your phone number. If you do not confirm your telephone number we will not be able to remove your telephone number from our call list".

I entered in my cell number, the automated voice response unit repeated the number and said "if this is correct press 1, if not press 2".

I pressed 1 and the vru responded with "thank you for your response. Your telephone number will be removed within two business days". The vru then disconnected the call.

Persistent.  8 calls in 5 days, and yes, I am on the "do not call" list.  It amazes me that companies like this keep calling.  Obviously they must get positive responses some of the time.  Since I cancelled a newspaper subscription in the last few months, I believe these calls could be related to that. The caller left no messages, so the number is now blocked.

Prepare for a barrage of calls; you just verified that yours is a "good" number (meaning someone will answer it, and answering these calls helps them to determine when to call us in the future). The do not call list is supposed to be all you need to get on to stop the calls (dream on...), so the scammers' claim that they need you to verify your desire to be taken off their list is a bogus attempt at appearing to be in compliance while gathering valuable assets (such as valid phone numbers that are actually answered by home/business owners, like yours has now been shown to be, which are then sold to other scammers for a profit even if you don't send them any money).

I too have been seeing calls from this # on caller id. Received a flyer in the mail from our local newspaper advertsing that as of January 6 can have coupons, sales circulars and more delivered to me Free every Sunday. Sounds like from what I am reading on prior comments, this might be related???

I've received 2 phone calls from this number 1st one on answering machine and the 2nd i answered had a recording saying this is a service verification call we will call back later.

Gotten calls from this number several times this week. But several times I've heard a voice say "Hello? Hello?" Before the "Hello, this is a service verification. We will try you again later" message plays. Weird.

They have called several times and I didn't answer. No message left.
I finally decided to answer and see what it was about. The woman said "this is not a solicitaion call, I am just calling to let you know that we will be delivering the Star Tribune and would you be interested in....." I said very firmly, NO THANK YOU and hung up. How is calling and offering a newspaper subscription not a solicitation call???? You are selling newspapers...selling = soliciting. Do they think people are stupid??

Call IDs as DELIVERY NOTICE ... Probably a telemarketer or personal info phisher ... Caller hangs up when answering machine takes call ... Calling daily, weekdays and weekends in early to late afternoon.

I continue to get spam calls despite being on the DNC registry.

As with many other posters, I am getting the Delivery Notice on my caller ID and the message on my answering machine is about service verification. I can not even remember when this began but I get a call form this number at least once a day if not more.

I am on a lot of work at hime sites and I must have signed up for something in order to get rewards.
