Called at 8:30 pm with caller id of "Delivery Notice".  No message left. Since I'm not expecting any deliveries, my gut says "SCAM"

Called again today at 10:40 am and didn't leave a message.  Blocked now

calls 3x a day will trigger answer machine but leaves no message what's the deal

Called again this morning, except now the phone rings only once while it checks my blocked list.  Then my phone hangs up on them.  A reverse search shows this number as being from South Dakota.  I'm not expecting anything from South Dakota, and I'm on the DNC list, sot this must be a scam.

Getting the same thing, ID shows "Delivery Notice" and no message.  Not as frequent as yours but I'm not expecting any deliveries either.

Rec'd tons of calls (at least 7), finally answered and a girl with a Chinese accent launches into asking if I received my Sunday delivery. Hung up. Not sure what the angle is... but who delivers on Sunday? Totally ignores the worthless Do Not Call list. Now that I'm on it, I receive far more phoney marketing calls.

I'm way to busy for this, because I'm transferring money from Nigeria for a high government official. Three more fee payments and I get millions.

Call came in as "DELIVERY NOTICE"...added to blocked callers list...done.

As a sidebar...

The majority of these type calls come from businesses that have call locations all around the US and sometimes even worldwide. Their "product" is mass robo-calling using multiple phone numbers for multiple sources, (read clients). These clients hire them for bill collection, consumer research surveys, credit card offers, online investing, political statements, and a host of other things to hook their customer's into the public. This is why you see so many different comments on 800notes that differ as to what their individual call was about.

In essence, they are nothing more than glorified phone banks. Furthermore, YOU aren't the customer, it is the source who hired them. YOU are the target.
Thus, depending on your own perspective, they are criminals, scammers or just pesky [***] who keep interrupting your day with their incessant calls.

Your best recourse; don't answer, don't call back, and block the number if you can. Anything else and you're just playing right into what they want you to do.

Been getting this number: Delivery Notice, for quite a few days.  Never leaves a message.  We do not answer...as no deliveries expected....Sounds like a scam

this is green tree financial.....they are the absolute worst.  they harass harass harass!
I reported them to the better business bureau and intend to report to the attorney general

Call the number back and it gives you a message that allows you to take your number off of their call list.

Just received a call from this number. I picked up and asked them why they were calling me. The person on the other end immediately hung up. Obviously a telemarketer.

Because so many good folks telephones are being invaded with these unwanted scam callers, several good folks have setup a free call blocking service. This unwanted scam caller is now being blocked by a free Call Blocking Service. Google “free call blocking service” to see what is available, you will be glad you did. We laugh each time such calls ring our phone and are blocked.

Got my blocked "delivery service" notice call again today... ha, ha, ha. I guess they must be one of the majority voters who voted twice for the incompetence we see in D.C. and don't know enough to grow up.

this number called 2x today around 5Pm and then again at 9PM on a friday night 11/14/2014.  First time some type of prerecorded message that gave a phone number to call if you no longer wanted to receive these calls, the second time someone started to say something then hung up.  Caller ID says "delivery notice"

I laughed out loud! Nice to see someone throw in a little good-natured humor, as a topping for this scamming. It appears to be just another in a long line of DNC List Generated calls. How ironic.

Calls repeatedly everyday!
