Rcv'd VM (phone did not ring at all) of half cut-off, pre-recorded message about my computer being hacked.

LOL your computer 'informations'. SCAMMERS of course.

They called me todayabout my computer did not answer

SCAM. Left message same as above. Did not pick-up I never do.

Microsoft security scam - what I find astounding is there just doesn't seem to be any way to stop these trolls - govt and carriers can't or won't do anything to stop these scams.

Called and got my answering machine but they left no message.

Same. I'd be scared but windows doesn't have my phone registered. Scam spam not thank you ma'am! People need to get a life. I feel bad for older or nieve ppl who fall for this Sh!

PC computer security scam. Low tech voice robot left a message, in improper English. Just ignore this call.

Same notes as above, with caller ID stating "ORLANDO", and also (surprisingly) request calling back the same number used to call me, i.e., 607-289-3811.  Oddly, they begin the recorded message stating that my computer will definitely become obsolete and become nonfunctional if not fixed immediately!....  by calling them!!!   Then, they end the diatribe by apologizing if they have called by mistake!  How nice of them!

They have not only called my "do-not-call" listed phone number, but have the gall (or their robo-call computer has the gall) to call me when hurricane Irma is just about on me.

IGNORE THIS BOGUS CALL!  ...and assist in trying to stop it.

Rinse and repeat.  There MUST be a way to put an end to these types of calls for good!

Received call today from 607 but 17 from the 425-553-2184 from the same idiots this past week telling me I had to give them my password and sign in so they could repair the various error reports I had.  Told the jerk I worked for Microsoft and he quickly hung up.  A woman called once with the same pitch and when I told her I was a state trooper, she hun g up so that was two of the 17 and I did not answer the rest.

Indians wanted to access my computer, they said there were virus and infections. Ugh get a real job Indians.

Windows repair scam

Spam and recorded message threatened to shutdown the computer if call not returned.
They need to be identified and shutdown.

Got the same message today! Can't believe they are that stupid! Or think people are that stupid with the amount of scam out there!

I never answered, no msg left. I don't answer any unfamiliar number. If nesrby i look up ni.ber right away. Thanks to all above and comments

Scam for sure. Called Id showed Malaysia. Voice mail left supposedly warning of computer hacking attempt. She warned of the possibllity of your "credential" instead of confidential information being compromised. Call this 607 289 3811.
