Another one of the many scammers

Just received it too. This is yet another "Cold Call" to be entered into my 'PhoneTray' list to be blocked!

I just received a call from this number.  My caller ID said "A Incoming Call".  Of course I didn't answer and no message was left.

"A Incoming Call".  Same spammer, different number?  Had already blocked them on 508-242-2042.

Call answered, but no one responded.  Hoped someone would speak so I could tell them to stop calling me!

Just answered a call from this number. Said something about being "from a pro-life" organization. I hung up. Caller ID said Allentown, NJ

Obvious with bad grammar in the name I wouldn't answer either. :-)  Just received the call too, that is a tip off if the "A" should have been "An"

this is a new-to-me scammer.  However, third scamming phone call today!

Silent caller. Let's waste their time.

Called Id lists them as "A incoming call". They don't leave a message. Blocked them.

Same as many others. CID showed incoming call.
I never answered - they left no message.
Probably just another scammer.

Caller ID of "A Incoming Call", answered, no one responded, then the call terminated. Called the number back, got a recording, hello none of our representatives are available now, if you believe you received this call in error, please press 1 to be removed from our call list, damned morons they all are, they don't give a hoot about anyone!

Same caller "A incoming call".  A new (newer?) one, eh?  I don't answer any call that I don't personally know.

Answered on first ring and no one there. I do not like my time wasted!

It's a SCAM....  Those of you that let the calls roll to your answering machine, voicemail or worse yet answered the call you have just ensured you will receive more of these calls.  Maybe not from the same number, but they’ve just identified your number as valid which assures more calls of these 'faux telemarketer calls'.  (I call them faux telemarketer calls as they are generally not legitimate telemarketers, but simply scams!)  Most of the initial calls originate from software (aka; ‘robocalls’) – once your number is identified as active, then a real person may be there on the follow up calls.  The majority of the calls are from a 'spoofed' number therefore the area code, exchange or even the entire number displayed on your caller ID probably does not accurately reflect the origin of a call.
If you have the capability to ‘BLOCK’ the number that called – that is the best action.  Since 2010 I have logged and currently block nearly 600 of these nuisance calls.
(NOTE: I have recently purchased equipment that can block by area codes.  I am in the process of blocking any area code where I do have any contacts.)
If you don’t have a blocking option, keep a phone with caller ID close by and simply hit ‘talk’ and ‘off’ simultaneously.  This will reduce the number of nuisance calls, but not stop them.
If you really want to block them – in addition to a number of cordless phones available there is software that a layman can install.  Of the over 500 calls I’ve blocked, I've only added 16 over the last 3 months.  (Most of those are from a new series of numbers that were not previously blocked)
So the message is simple – blocking works….  Using the aforementioned processes I seldom have a second call from a given number.  But, when I do - I love it when "Number Blocked" shows on my 'Caller ID!!!  (When they call repeatedly it causes me to wonder about how stupid some of these dummies really are!)
PS:  I think Call Notes should add a 'Call Type' for 'Spoof' or 'Scammer Calls'!

Caller ID says "A Incoming Call." Female automaton voice eventually asks how you're doing, responds to your answer, then says it's from some coalition of precious babies and asks if you're "pro-life" or "pro-choice." I hung up.

Got this call and no message left.  Annoying!
