I received a call on my cell phone from (610) 378-5373, but no message.  Interestingly enough I discovered a few days prior that from my mother a man   named Dan was trying to contact me.  The manner in which he spoke made my mother think it was a friend of mine, so she gave him my cell phone.  Now that I know better I will be contacting these scumbag agency via mail.  I don't know why they are contacting me when all my medical bills were handled through the health insurance.

I received a call with this number and Pennsylvania as the source, for my deceased wife. When I told them she died, the lady said thank you and hung up. After Googling the number, I was sent to this site. I decided to call back and found out it is the collection agency following a disputed claim (double billing from a medical lab) from the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. I spoke to her and was told that it was still being investigated. She will call back when settled.

I'm submitting this, only because it may help solve where these calls are coming from.

I keep receiving phone calls from this number and I am a college student and they always call me while I am in the middle of class. I have never called them back and I have never answered their phone calls, I just wish that they would stop calling and interrupting my life.

These people call daily...night, day, it doesn't matter.  I've already contacted the medical depts. that I have accounts with and they are calling my cell phone and I can't "block" their number.  I'm sick of it!  Any suggestions?  Does the "Do Not Call Registry" apply to cell phones, too?

This number is definitely a collection agency.  The call I got was representing a bill from a hospital.

They been calling leaving a message with a low name on it , come to find out the person who used to have my number owed a bill (phone company lied said this wasnt a recycled number) any way told them to cease calling noone lives here by the name they wanted nor do i know them still recieving five to 10 calls a day. No longer answer my phones to anyone make them start leaving messages

Received multiple phone calls from this number, and I decided to answer once. The caller asked for a "Kimberly," and I explained that I didn't know anyone by that name. I was transferred to another representative who "confirmed" that I wasn't Kimberly and that I didn't know her. I was told I wouldn't be called again. Then, a few days later, I received a call again; the caller left a message this time--again asking for Kimberly. I called the number back (not the 800# that was left) and spoke with a polite representative. I explained that I had received a new cell phone and was told that my number had never been used before. I said I didn't know Kimberly and either my phone company lied and recycled the number, or she lied and gave a bad number. The representative confirmed the phone number and said I wouldn't be called again. We'll see what happens...

just recieved a phone call from this number i am so glad this site is here now i now to avoid picking up the phone for this call. i guess they must have recently gotten my cell number somewhere because i am being harrassed by a bunch of different numbers several times a day. i think its time to make a break to canada..

Yeah, I got a call today and this lady by the name of Rachel said "Chris , this is Rachel please give me a call back as soon as possible my number is (610) 378-5373" Didn't say what it was for or anything so thanks to everyone that posted here I know what to do next time someone calls from that number. Time to get a fog horn and blow their F'n ear drums out. Guaranteed they won't call back...LOLOLOL...I'll just say sorry I'm workin on my boat!

I called this number back and the [***] didn't know who I was after I told her she called my house 80 times. She claimed my mother owes all this money in hospital bills when in fact the bills are paid through ins except for 7 measley dollars which was mailed in as a check about 2 months ago. So the [***] proceeds to ask why I'm being nosey in my mother's affairs, granted my mother can not speak. I'm tempted to call the ARB back 100 times and badger this [***]. Any way the company can be shut down for their ignorant staff?

I received a phone call from this same number just this evening for my daughter who is in college. This man (or rather a rude young boy sounded like to me) was asking for my daughter in a VERY unprofessional manner and it scared me because he almost sounded like he knew her personally and I was concerned for her safety. How can one deal with this so that they will get the message to stop calling. As far as I know this was our first call. I would like to do the same thing as "Felice" did and report it to my doctor but that is probably why they are so unhelpful and give no name. I have no idea which doctor to contact. My daughter played college bball and so she has had two different surgeons. HELP! : 0

They called here this morning at 8:03!  I called them back after reading through the posts here as I was curious how they would react.  Keep in mind that I *67 my number before calling so that it would not show up in their system :)  The phone was answered with a "Hello".  When I asked who I was speaking to, she said her name was Kathy.  I told why I was calling and she asked for the phone number.  I then asked who she worked for.  Her answer (you're gonna love this) was....I work in a big building with lots of offices.  Ok fine...What's the name of the business you work for?  Her reply:  There lots of offices.  Four on each floor.  I'm thinking here we go, so I ask her specifically which one she works for.  Again, there's lot of offices.  Four on each floor.  So I ask her what her job is.  Her response:  I direct phone calls.  There are lots of offices and with your phone number I can connect you to the correct one.  When I didn't give her the number right away, she said...Well, I'm sure they will be calling you back shortly. Then she hung up.

Amazing.  Hope this helps someone.  Just remember to *67 before calling the number, then your phone number will be blocked from their id system.

I filed three complaints against these [***] with the Bureau of Consumer Protection of the Office of Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Six times they called me, six times they pulled their trademark game of pretending to be a personal friend.  Six times I told them to shove it up their @$$ -- they are attempting to collect medical debt from my father...  who is dead and buried next to my beloved mother.

I've got to tell you - I have half a mind to pay these people a personal visit, but that would result in criminal acts of violence.  I'll be happy to let the power and majesty of the Commonwealth pummel them instead.

Thank God for this site, too.  Whoever runs it does the Lord's work.

I called the number only to be greeted by a moron! She would not say where she was from unless I tellher my name!

This "service" calls at all hours of the day and when you pickup the phone to answer, it either states closed or puts you on another waiting list.

I got a call from them and called back- it is indeed accounts recovery, and they did have a valid bill from me that I had forgotten to pay.  The woman's name was Nicole Jones and she was very nice and polite, and they were calling as a courtesy before the bill would show up in collections, which I for one appreciated.  

I know debt collectors are annoying, but really if you take care of your debts, you won't have to worry about it!

So i was called by this number early in the morning, afternoon, etc...and ingored it due to not knowing the number...later that day i recieved a message shortly after the call very short and friendly " hey (my first name) just calling to see how you are doing, give me a call" i called the number back and heard the little intro music and please hold crap... "business office is this (first name again)" obviously i ask who it is and i am immediately disconnected... the hung up on me.. i called back shortly after and basically continued the cycle trying to speak with a supervisor... didnt happen.. to make a long story short i got mad.. googled the number and here i am.... i dont believe there is anyway to stop these people if there is PLEASE let me know...

6 calls in one day - but no messages from this number... I probably do have an outstanding bill - but I'll never know if they don't leave me a message and I'm not calling them again to find out what they want!

Get a Call from this number numerous times a day every day. This site was very informative.. thank you all for writing. does anyone know how to stop them from calling. i have never picked up this call as i have a prepaid phone and do not wish to waste my minutes on calls i dont wish to answer. but i would appreciate if these people would quit calling me.
