I received a call from this number this morning. The phone ID said it was from Havertown.   A woman named "Valerie" woman was claiming to be from an advocacy group was offering a new topical pain medicine that is safer and more effective than the NSAIDS and other harmful pills on the market.  She said it would be free to me if I qualified, and that it would go through my insurance company if my doctor approved.  She asked for my health card info.  I saw a red flag and asked for her information, company website, phone number, etc., none of which she could give me - except she said the name was United Health Associates and her ID # was 1005. I told her I would call my insurance company to verify what she was doing and she could call me back at a later date.  My insurance company verified that this is a scam, and that I should never give out my health information from someone who calls me on the phone if it is unsolicited by me.  I tried calling this woman back on the number that came up on the phone ID, but I couldn't get through to anyone.  ( 610 572 4626).  I can't find any info on this number online.

Did you get a call from this number today?  Was it anything like I have described below?

Just got a call from same # with ID of Haverford.  If I don't know it, I don't pick up.  No voice mail.

Hung up before I could pick up. Also said Havertown, PA.

Just received robo-call from this number, with what I think is the same nonsense others have experienced.  The recording said that there's a new pain reliever yadda yadda chronic pain, yadda yadda, that my insurer has approved.  Press 1 to get started (or something), Press 2 to notify your provider that you are refusing this product.  

I am a pain patient, and am wondering if any others are too?  That may help figure out who sold our info.

This number calls me at least twice a day but I don’t answer it. I figured it was a robocall

As above, phone number says Havertown & it has called on more than one occasion.  No messages have been left.

Whoever it is calls by PC device, 3X per day;  I do not answer.  On the 2 occasions I answered, no one was there.  Verizon FIOS says that there is no such telephone number.  Its all a ruse!

Says from Havertown but it’s not a legitimate Havertown phone number. Robo call, always in the morning. Robo is triggered by voice so if you remain silent when you answer it disconnects. If you say hello, Robo goes into its recording.

It would be a lot more helpful and useful if you had posted details of what the recording says.
