Someone keeps on calling me, I ignored it 3-4 times, then picked up, there was a lady who had a very hard time pronouncing my name, stated she wanted to talk to me, I said who are you, she hung up, I think this lady is a Chinese Red Army General and u can expect a lot of scum from her. "Pamela" called and started to ask questions to verify information for my husband. We are both medical professionals.  The questions didn't seem to add up and she was very vague when asked who she was and why she was calling. Finally she apologized when I told her the information she had was wrong, and I searched Enclarity, which lead me to this site!

I am also a physician receiving repeated calls from In Clarity purporting to check insurance information.  This seems odd since I am almost entirely in research now, not patient care.

This is a phishing call from a fake company.  They get your information use to make sure you are still in practice and have not moved so they can file false insurance claims using your information. In addition, one of my partners who sent this form back has suddenly had fake narcotics prescriptions "written" by him presented to be filled. Not sure if this is related, but no legitimate company would send out blind faxes like this. I got three in the last two days and I am a Ph.D. psychologist in the practice. What is this all about??? By the way, what is the Lexis Nexis heading on the fax for? And the Scanner Codes are all fake!

I have read the above and researched this company. It is in fact part of LexisNexis having been acquire two years ago. Basically, the company collects provider information and then sells it to insurance companies, hospitals, managed care organizations, PPO's, etc. They are relying on you to update their data so they can sell it. There is no apparent value to the physician. More free work for you to do so some one else can make money on your back.

Use call block for the number. Read my post at the end and it explains who they are.

A lot of physician and provider information in insurance company, marketing companies, drug companies, PPO's, managed care, etc., data bases is incorrect in one way or another.  These companies call you to get you to update your information for them so they can compile it and sell it. This is of no value to physicians but is the sole reason that Enclarity is in business. You should evaluate for yourself whether or not to help them. If you like receiving numerous marketing faxes everyday on your secure fax line, this is one reason to provide this information.

This information is being collected by a subdivision of Lexus Nexus, Enclarity.  In their advertising literature, they claim that at least 20% of provider information data-bases of  payors, insurance companies, PPO's, HMO's, and marketing companies, including drug companies, supply companies, and others, is incorrect. They ask you to correct any inaccuracies in their data so they can compile it and sell it to the above.  Of particular value is you secure fax line phone number which is sold to marketers so they know where to fax marketing material. This has become a very valuable business thanks to the time we spend filling out the forms for them.

In other words, they don't want to be bothered by you calling them, rather they prefer to bother you by calling or faxing you repeatedly during your work hours.  By the way, they are collecting this information to correct  the 20% of inaccuracies that are contained in their records. And, you should be aware that the corrected data is not gratuitously shared with payors, instead it is compiled and sold to anyone who can par for it. Including all of the marketing companies that clog your "secure fax machine". LexusNexus is a great company and I am sure that Enclarity does a great service to its customers. I have not yet figured out what they do for me.

It is a LexusNexus owned company named Enclarity that is trying to correct your information in their database so they can sell it. Spend a few minutes making sure they have it right so they can make some money selling your fax number to marketing companies.

They're still at it.  Received a phishing fax from "LexisNexis" (which apparently HAS acquired Enclarity), but which says Enclarity (funny that auto correct changes it to "Unclarity").  Asks me (Physician's office) to "verify" address, phone, fax.  Reverse lookup on the toll free return fax number says "owner concealed for privacy reasons."  Still is apparent phishing attempt.

I haven't received a phone call from this company, but I've gotten about 1 fax a week from "LexisNexis" asking me to verify all my information is correct. I haven't replied to it but they keep coming. This number is listed on the bottom of the fax to call for questions. Good thing I had a hung and looked it up before I faxed my information back.
