This person collects deposits for BicHoN FriSe on craigslist even though they do not have a puppy to sell they use Venmo and Google Pay

This number is on Craigslist listings selling puppies. We texted back and forth and they asked for a deposit through Venmo or google.

Looks like you both should have gone to a rescue for those types of dogs.

Never pay for a pet you can't meet in person first. You have no guarantee as to the health and condition of the animal - or if it even exists!
As BigA said, go to a rescue for your new family member. There are breed-specific rescues if you must have a specific breed.
