This number has been calling nightly for several days - no answer on pickup.

As someone said earlier, go to there "Do not Call" web page and remove your number from the list. I did this and all calls have stopped.

they called me, didnt answer. googled the # cause it was a weird one, found this page. guess im not the only one

Called me three times this week! No one says anything! How annoying! Contacted my phone company and told me to press *57 to track it then call their security department.

Received a call from this morning - no message left.
Went to their web site and submitted the request to be put on their do not call list.  Thanks all for the information on this company.

Today is the first time I received a call from THIS number. However, over the last two weeks, I have received two or three calls a day, from Bernett Research Service, in Moscow, Idaho, 208-232-8892. I have never answered the call and they leave nothing on my machine. I looked up Bernette online. They are supposed to provide survey services, along with other "Call Center" services. Bernette has centers in several U.S. cities, in a couple of different states, other than Idaho. I figure it's just another collection agency calling on a 20 year old debt.

i think they should stop calling me shortly thanks to you guys:) its nice to know ppl out there don't like random guys named Alex calling you while your trying to enjoy your evening rum hehe:)

They called this afternoon to do a survey and I told them I was too busy. I really was. Called this evening again and I didn't answer but immediately came on line to see who they were. Thanks to you all, I filled out their DNCL. They seem to be able to ignore the one I'm already on.

They called me several times and I ignored it.  This last time that they called me, I actually answered because I was frustrated... and got charged LONG DISTANCE on my cell bill this month!  I'm quite disgusted seeings how I've submitted my number multiple times to the DO NOT CALL registry!

Telephone survey for Harris-Decima polling firm. Asked questions about inclination to file taxes online, steps taken personally to protect the environment, satisfaction with hardware retailers and how I'd vote in a federal election.

Got these calls a few months back, and now they have started again. 514-288-0420. I did call the number back and it was a Canada number?  It added a few cents to my phone bill since I don't speak French.  I won't EVER call these numbers back. Same as most have reported.  Odd hours of phone calls.  I will never answer.  And today another number showed up 613-230-2890.  Thanks to caller ID I won't be answering ANY of these calls.

Thank you everyone for reporting this number.   If only we could get all these unwanted calls stopped.  Apparently they cannot be legislated out of existence.

The CEO of this annoying research company. Now everyone has someone to forward spam emails to!!

The few times that I am caught on the phone with someone wishing for me to answer a survey, my first response is to ask them for a mailing address.

Sometimes they will just give it to me, which I write down. Most times they will ask why I want the mailing address, and I inform them that I need an address to send an invoice to, because I charge $300.00 to participate in any market research surveys. I feel that these companies are raking in the bucks selling the information they expect to gather from me free of charge.

The ones who just give out the address without asking why get an invoice mailed to them.

Once you tell them there is a fee attached to your participation, they usually can't wait to get off the phone.

As you know, any invoice that is left undisputed for a period exceeding 30 days is considered legal debt and can be pursued as a small claim in a court of law.

In the odd case, you might even get them sending you a cheque, depending on how diligent an accounting department they have. And its not fraud either. You are providing a service, supplying data that has monetary value to the recipient. You are entitled to monetary compensation for such a service. All perfectly legal.

First got a call from this number a few minutes ago. Woman asked for me by name and i already had a funny feeling before i answered when i saw the unfamiliar area code and number. I said i was someone else and asked who was calling. They just asked when is a good time to reach him/me I said no idea and that was that, strange almost emotionless mechanical quality to the voice, far away.  Did not call back.  Bell Phone In Ottawa/Hull was info i found.

I get about four hang-ups every evening. Either a computer program is doing the calling or it's a superhuman effort. Including weekends. Wouldn't it be something if the end result of the The Do Not Call List is that all these telemarketers move to Canada? Lovely. Thank goodness for the Internet.
