Said they call from the CRA "baptiste" revenu agency...and told me I would be in the !!!! if I don't return the call ASAP   ...
His said his name was officer John Parker... He wish me could luck if I don't call him back!!!!!

Also got thé same message. Did not return thé call.

Received a message from this number also saying he was John Parker from CRA. Also told me that I should get in contact with my attorney, and if I don't, then he's just going to wish me "a good luck".

Its a very bad scam.  CRA always contacts via mail . always!  , they will never just phone you .
This guy is just trying to mess with people near income tax time.
The number also has a history of being a debit collector.

I would expect it will soon be well reported by many to RCMP.

i got two calls today from this number.  Message is a recording and said he was calling from CRA and that I needed to call that number immediately and to contact my attorney if I didn't comply.  Said he was Officer John Parker.  Not sure why the R.C.M.P. haven't shut this down  by now.

This number called and stated that if I did not contact them with the immediate response that they would be pursuing me that I would need to retain a lawyer

Said he was John Parker from revenue Canada.  Had a thick accent. Said he was from revenue Canada and needed me to call back before the situation escalated.  I did not call back.

I returned the call, several times, I asked what they had called for and then they addressed me by my first inital and last name.  Again I asked them what they wanted that was so urgent, they asked me for my name I replied... Mrs. "Last Name", he became quite rude.  I said you have my number please look up my account and tell me what you are calling about.  They told me I was being a Rude Son of a B and hung up on me.  I called back... told them I called the "real CRA" and they hung up again.... Now I hope they know that I will not "PLAY" their games and have removed me from their data banks :)

Called back. They tell me I owe taxes from 2010 for $2158.  I said I would not pay without some paperwork, so he said he would send it to me. I wonder what I'll get?  It was a scam plain and simple, his language was not proper and the back ground noise was like a call center. He answered the phone himself.  When I get the paperwork I'll drop it off at the police station.

Called back and managed to get the line. The man answered saying it was Revenue Canada with a strong Indian accent. I started speaking French and the man said he did not speak French and that no one there spoke it since they are based in... Toronto! I continued in French. He switched to what seemed like an Indian language (I then switched to Spanish). I asked why Revenue Canada did not have a toll free number, he said they did but that he did not have to give it to me! He then said Revenue Canada never calls anyone and that I was lying. I asked him if he had ever heard of call display... and he finally hung up on me!

Same thing here, Scam call from "john parker"... Recorded in bad English... Too bad, here we speak french... They sould have called in French... 🙈

Ils ont essayé de me faire payer 3159 $ en argent américain, ils me disaient qu'ils appelaient de revenu Canada, mais voulaient me faire payer ma supposée dette aux États-Unis ? En me disant que c'était une agence de recouvrement américaine qui s'occupait de collecter pour le Gouvernement Canadien ??? HaHaHa. Ils m'ont aussi dit que si je ne payais pas tout de suite aujourd'hui j'allais être poursuivi pour 96 000$.Ils m'ont demandé de leur dévoiler combien d'argent j'avais dans mon compte de banque... Quand j'ai tout refusée en leur disant qu'ils étaient des fraudeurs, ils m'ont dit que la Police s'en venait me chercher, qu'il était à 2 minutes de chez moi ! HaHaHa Je les attends toujours !

J'ai eu deux messages sur ma boîte vocale hier me disant de rappeler un certain John Parker de Revenu Canada sinon il me souhaitait bonne chance...J'ai rappelé avec un numéro masqué et demandé à parler à quelqu'un qui parle français...non disponible selon lui... il y avait un bruit de fond d'une centrale de rendez-vous. Je lui ai mentionné que s'il appelait vraiment de Revenu Canada, je pourrais avoir un service en français..il m'a raccroché la ligne au nez!

Received a call from this number.  Caller claimed to be from CRA, and that I owed them back taxes from a couple of years ago and if I didn't pay him immediately I would need a lawyer.  I asked him if he was sure that he had the right person because I have only been in this country for 10 months now. (I was born here, heh-heh-heh.)  He got kind of rude and hung up on me.

called a few days ago sayin all the same stuff as others reported.....just speak to them in french (because we ARE a bilingual country and every government office has english/french option), make up your own language or tell them you will go to your local CRA office in person and deal with it! CRA will ALWAYS communicate with you in writing! so you know it's a scam!

I also just received this call.  Has anyone talked to the R.C.M.P.
