Dec 1, 2017, got left a cut-off message in one of Windows' computer-generated female voices, telling me "do not disregard this legal call, take care and good-bye"--basically sounded like the tag-end of yet another of those scam calls threatening legal action from the CCRA unless the victim pays up (hint:  the CCRA doesn't work like that)--I suspect they miscalculated in having their robocaller not wait for the tone before starting to do its spiel.  BOGUS, BOGUS, BOGUS, I have 100% faith that if you get one of these, it's a scammer pretending to be a collection agent for CCRA.

Second time we have had a call from them the last week..Blocked the first so this is likely a spoofed number.

I started getting these calls after a Debt Collector gave up after eight months of calling and not getting through.  It could very well be another sneaky collector.

This number called my home phone. I did t recognise it,so I ignored the call. I've been harassed by so called debt collectors from  many different #s,so suspect this to be the same. ANNOYING to say the least. Wish there was some type of law against them.

Came up as a local number, despite my better judgement I answered.

I was greeted by call center din and a voice identifying as "Warren" asking if I had a moment. I promptly asked where he was calling from. It was here I realized this was a machine; the call center din was looping and Warren had gone silent. After a few seconds Warren chimed in with a "hello". I was curious where this was leading, I figure it was a survey of some kind out to get personal info. Robo calls am I right?

I respond with a hello of my own and Cyberwarren starts into a scripted spiel. Apparently I almost broke The Matrix by responding outside of the programmed responses. "Great! I'm going to ask you a few questions..."
I hung up at that point and came here. What do you know, a bogus number and a potential scam? Say it isn't so...

The Caller ID is NONE, and a robotic voice says, "Hello, this is Warren, how are you today" repeatedly.     I hung up.
