This number phoned and claimed to be revenue Canada and 8000 dollars in taxes was owed and if 1000 wasnt sent to them by 5pm there would be consequences like going to jail.. and fines.
The voices...there were 2,were obviously east indian or pakastani,not sure,but definitely the same strong accent.

Total scam.  They do the same thing here in the US.  Block and ignore.  Report them to your anti-fraud agencies.  No tax agency in North America calls people up and threatens them.  Most of the time tax agencies use mail for initial contact.

The caller claimed he's from CRA and demanded a tax payment otherwise they will take legal action. Well, they have just happened to call a wrong person, I have never owed a penny to the tax man! Will report to Canadian Anti-Fraud Center shortly.
