I was left a recorded message from a man claiming to be with CRA & saying I owed money. That someone would be coming to the house to serve papers. He also said to have our lawyer contact them at the number above or we would suffer the consequences. This is a total scam using Canada Revenue Agency's name.

Same as above, recorded message. Makes me nervous first, then I realize it's scam. It was very treatning. Asked for contacting lawyer.....

I also had the privilege of hearing the extortion robocall allegedly from the CRA regarding my unpaid taxes asking me to call them at the 613 number within 24 hours. The voice was computer generated so it was impossible to tell an accent.
They must be getting desperate as they have already called me 3 times today.

|Same as above and called 3 times in a matter of 1 hour. Does not mention my name. I ignored this and deleted the messages. I know that CRA has no issues with me since I am on disability and in such have no income and do my taxes each year and no back taxes due. SCAM

Had a call yesterday (june 13) 3X.  Let it go to answering machine...same story treatening legal action. Then this morning they called at 7AM....just a LITTLE annoyed.

Same as above.  Machine says they are from CRA. Also says they will freeze my assets if i don't settle up

I just called the number. I told him I am a lawyer from CRA and told him the same thin. He freak and hangs up right away ha ha ha . They should go back to there home country.

They are in their home country.  Calls originate in India and Pakistan.  We get them in the USA too.  Say they're IRS.  Total scam.

Same as above only I drove to police station but they could not trace a call "too bad". When I told him he hung up hahaha

Had a automated voicemail and called them back to find out its the scam going around.  Said they were in the process of freezing my account etc because I had not called their company before May 31.

Same as above. Threatened with going to court for CRA issues, advised to get a lawyer. Said all assets would be frozen.

received a call June 15 2016 from this CRA scam number beware

Total scam - they will try to scare you into thinking you are going to be sued by the Canadian government.  When I said to go ahead and do what they had to do because we had done nothing wrong, the hung up on me.

Total scam.  Fake caller using synth voice and claiming to be CRA.  They are not.  It's a totally bogus and a scam.

It just sickens me the way they let these losers get away with it. These people need to be found and terrorized themselves because this is obviously is what setting people off too. The public needs to gather and start protesting these pests. I had enough.

Rang back the number which was answered immediately by a female indicating she was Canada Revenue Agency.  When I asked who exactly she was after some seconds she hang up.  Lots of noise in the background, sounded like a busy call center.
