Received several calls frm the phone number 633-366-3294 several times. Claiming that calling from revenue Canada. Want my personal information. When asked about his information, the person hang up the phone

I also got message from this number and he said he is calling from cra and he told that a case is registered against me and when I call back I got the message that this number does not exist

same , but when calling back the number isnt in service.

I also got a call from this number, claiming to be CRA. They said I owed over $1,200 and that it had to be paid today or it would go to court tomorrow and I would owe over $30,000 due to court charges. They also stated that there were over 21 subpoena charges out for my arrest if I did not comply. I referred them to my lawyer and they insisted they would only deal with me. These guys are crooks and need to be stopped before they actually scam someone out of their money. They play on people's fears!

Received call from 6133663294 claiming that there is warrant for me .He is calling from CRA, ASking to write down information he gives me. Crooks calling and making people fool. Asking for  money.

Received a call from 613-366-3294, claiming to be a "CRA Officer" McBrown. Speaking in a thick south-asian accent, he stated there are three federal charges brought up against me, and my name and identity are being investigated.
"Mr. McBrown" missed the fact that CRA employees are not officers. Actually, by portraying an officer, Mr. McBrown happened to commit a criminal offence himself. Not to mention that the scenario does not make a lick of legal or tax sense.
I have to give the scammers: they finally figured out how to route through North American phone codes, instead of using some exotic numbers. BUT they do not know that should any tax issues arise, one would get a call from their local tax centre, not Ottawa. Unless one is a foreigner.

I will be calling Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and volunteering to be a sitting duck to help catch these criminals.

CRA does not have an authority to issue warrants... stupid crooks...

Repeat of above!  The officer calling me was "James Brown" :)!  .......he was very harassing but I kept challenging him as to why he was calling from Ottawa and not the local BC CRA office.  He told me that the call was being recorded and Homeland security was part of the departments that were listening.  When I challenged him why Homeland Security from the US was listening to the recordings he got very offended.  He told me to stop interrupting him.  I didn't allow him to get to the point about asking for personal information or that I owed money.  I asked for a call back # and he gave me 613-518-8043.  Which was different that the one he called from.  I'm not going to bother....it will probably be out of service like others have mentioned.  Be forewarned....just hang up on them and have your service provider block the #.

Received a call from this number.  When person they asked for wasn't available they asked if I was a family member then proceeded to tell me they were from CRA and my husband has several charges against him.  I promptly told them it was a bogus call and hung up.  CRA would NEVER give information like that to a family member and they don't call from noisy call centres with a strong accent that is almost unintelligible.  I hope that nobody gets hooked by these guys!

Got a call from "officer Mac brown" from the cra saying there is a case against me. Didn't bother to call back the number. Mac brown sounded suspect. GEDS has no record of him and cra is closed. Total bull.

Ditto on above.  Someone needs to shut these people down.  CRA and I was under investigation by the police...  Called back and they answered CRA - did a search and this is crap.

Hey Just got a call from the same number (613-366-3294) claiming to be from CRA Steven Li and said there is an arrest warrant out cause my taxes weren't calculated properly - couldn't even speak English properly and claiming to be working for CRA. Scammers are out - watch out all!

On june 5 2015 @6.04 pm got a call from 613 366 3294 that i owe $1287-82 and a warrent has been issed .There was noise behind and voice sounded like some desi indian  named cavin .He told me that the tax years are 2013 -2014 . When i asked how much each year he says i have limited information and talk to my senior and i told him you can not be from revenue canada because i did not file my 2013 2014 returns yet.I hang up and right away my phone rang again and strange enough that the phone is displaying my number and someone said hoo hoo hoo hellow and i cut off. Watch out these scammers

My son who was at home today and he got a call from the same number claiming as a CRA officer. He has demanded CAD 2500 to be paid in 20 min. When I called this number (613-366-3294), I heard a background conversation in Hindi language and this person was appeared to be with Indian accent, so he disconnected after a while when I asked him what was the issue for contacting me.

It's a scam! Told him to hold on while I called my accountant to verify what he was saying and he hung up. Called the number back and no one picks up. Idiot!

I got exactly the same message yesterday form that number 613-366-3294. But confirmed qith CRA no charges are filed against me or that I owe any money. BIG SCAM

I filed a ticket to Ottawa police to stop this man!

Yeah, that'll work.  When will people realize these piles of human feces work out of Pakistan and there is nothing you can do except hang up.   Here's a clue: if they have an indo/Pakistani accent it is fraud 100 percent of the time.  Hang up.
