Said from the CRA and there was an arrest warrant out for me.... I called back and harassed them.... Then they hung up on me!! It was fun.

I got a call from somebody saying I owe money  to CRA, if I do not pay they will arrest me. The guy on the phone says go to the post office and pay the money.

Same deal. Said they were auditors for the cra, I owed money and the cra was taking me to court.  I asked why I had never received documents, they said they would send me some but I had chance to settle out of court. I said I would call my accountant and call back. They said if I talked to any third party, even family, they would just send it to court now.  Asked if they considered the police a third party because that is who I was calling next.

Just got the same call from a male with broken English saying he was from the CRA and we owed money.  I said give me your phone number and I will call you back. I said I am not talking to someone who says they are from the CRA who wants personal info over the phone. He was reluctant to give me his number but I said if you want personal info from me give me your number and I will call you back.   He gave me Peter Smith, lol.  613 366 3301 ext. 121 and I found this site. A complete scam.

Got a message on my machine from this fellow calling himself Alexander.  Sounds of a busy call centre in the background. He said the CRA is filing a lawsuit against me and to call that phone number to resolve.  I can see how this can intimidate seniors and less savvy Canadians.  Why are their phone lines not flagged and blocked by our telecommunications carriers?

Just got a call from this number saying I would be in court by tomorrow if I did not send money to CRA immediately

Got a call from a guy claim to be Alexander Matthews from 613-366-3301. Said he was from Audit department at Canada Revenue. Said I owed money but could not answer all my questions. Relieved I didn't give him more information. Is this happening to many other people in Ontario. He claimed he was from 333 Laurial Ave. West Ottawa. similar yet not accurate address in Ottawa.

just happened to me. Very serious offence. Is this guy serious.

Got call from this number.  PIcked up phone.  Nobody there.  Said "hello" twice.  Waited a while.  Click, then fast beep-beep-beep.  Wasn't there something on the radio about this scam?  Surprised they are still in business.
 By the way, "broken English" can be very Canadian.  Lots of long-time Canadians speak broken English.  No proof it's from another country.

A person with a heavy accent just called and claimed that a member of our household owed money to Revenue Canada (not true) and that they would "Kick the door down to get it".  He also called my uncle an "[***]".  This creepy scammer must be stopped.  Please report to the Better Business Bureau immediately! The creep called from 613-366-3301. Beware!!

We received a voice message from a John Kotter saying he was from Revenue Canada Agency and that they have a case filed against our name and that we needed to call him back as soon as possible.  I knew this had to be a scam as Revenue Canada would never call and leave a message on a answering machine.  BEWARE!

Just got the same call..Carl Cooper was his name..I called cra and they told me it's a scam and the RCMP KNOWS all about it. Scared the crap out of me ..I knew something wasn't right but it still shook me up..they said they don't know how they are getting the addresses. Crazy

Received a call from 'Officer Brian John' telling me that either me or my attorney needed to call him back immediately or suffer the events that would unfold.

Received a call from 61-281-034-061 (Australia?) message was about CRA requesting a call to 613-366-5126 or -5123 (bad quality)  They apparently investigate my identity. I reported this call to: http://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca/index-eng.htm
