- Chris| 1 replyMy mother received a call from this number, claiming that she owed money in taxes, and that she was looking at jail time for tax evasion, demanding that she pay $1,500 immediately. Luckily, she knew she didn't owe any money, and also, my coworker's parents had been through the exact same situation/scam three weeks prior, so I was able to reassure my mother. They seem to target elders (anyone over 55). Please be aware of these scammers. It was quite a dramatic and hectic ordeal for my coworkers parents
- D WilliamsI received a call claiming an arrest warrant had been issued by Revenue Canada for fraud because I owed back taxes. I replied that Revenue Canada doesn't make this kind of calls, but sends a letter! Thanks and don't call back!

- k replies to ChrisI got the same call on June 26, at 4:50 PM. Since I knew the civil servants would not be working at this time, I did not bother to keep on speaking. In addition, the woman spoke a broken English.
- Me...Lil' Ol' Aboriginal Native Women| 1 replyGot a call July 8, 2015. @ 11:30 a.m. From someone with a heavy East Indian Accent claiming that he was a CRA investigation officer. Almost sound legit until they started getting stupid. They claimed that I owed for tax fraud. Joke on you stupid idiots who do not deserve to have Canadian Citizenship. Who allowed them into our good country to try & commit fraud on innocent human beings?!! I know that not all East Indians are criminals but, for these bunch of stupid idiots they do not even know the Canadian constitutional Acts furthermore when did CRA started to ask to transfer large sums of money through Western Union.!!! There's possibly two or one East Indian Man and One East Indian woman working this scam all with extremely heavy accent. So, BEWARE.

- TheBugGot a voice message today (July 9th) from this number saying that an arrest warrant had been issued against me, and that unless I called back within an hour "legal action would be taken". I barely could understand the message because of the heavy East Indian accent and loud background noise. Sounded fishy and I thought I should check the phone number for possible scams related to that number... Glad I did! Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences...!
- g alfred| 1 replyIt's July 10th and I received a call from 613 366 3330 saying they have a warrant for my arrest because of tax fraud...Heavy accent...I thought it was fillopino...not sure...I asked them for their number and I also asked them to phone back when they have someone who I can understand. I'm native and I work on the reserve...so I know for a fact that I don't owe any taxes....but it was scary....:(
- g alfred replies to Me...Lil' Ol' Aboriginal Native WomenIt's so disrespectful to come to our country and think that they have the freedom to cheat innocent aboriginals out of their hard earned monies...It irks me.
- W replies to g alfredOn July 15th, 2015 a disturbing phone message was left for me by some one with a VERY heavy Indian accent and a lot of background noise, stating that his name was Officer Mike Landerson from the CRA, he went on to say that he was an investigation officer for Canada Revenue Agency and that there was an arrest warrant against me for tax fraud and that if I didn't call back within one hour then legal action would be taken. I immediately looked up the number knowing that CRA does not make these types of calls & of course knowing that I hadn't committed crime. Clearly there isn't anything that scammers won't do. I hope that no one once falls for this.
- JaneI just received a call from this same number 613-366-3330
A foreign voice claiming to be a CRA officer and that I owed federal tax money.
I hung up and they called back twice. BEWARE!- Caller: ?
- SMFI just got the same call - same heavy East Indian accents (July 16/2015 @ 5:30 pm). Thing is, my permanent residence is in the USA and I have filed US tax returns for the past 14 year, so I knew that this was a scam. They called my Canadian cottage number (and had the physical address). I laughed out loud when they told me that the police would be here in half an hour to take me to jail. I plan to file a complaint with Bell, and possibly the police, if they even deal with this sort of thing.
- Caller: Fake CRA
- DSYup. Just got a call from this number this morning (July 17, 2015). Left a message. Heavily accented and lots of background noise. I could barely decipher what he said. Something about a lawsuit. Call back to find out more. Last thing I think he said was his name from CRA. Scam!

- JanGot a call from the above number. Could not understand most of what the person was saying. The guy said his name was Officer Harry or Harvey Johnson and if I did not call back in 1 hour I would have legal action taken against me. So glad I Googld and found out what is going on. How can these people b e stopped. What scares me is he knew my full name!
- Caller: Fibernetics oration Ottawa
- TSSame as the last poster. Harry Johnson. Should have googled the number before calling back. Was half way through a panicked phone call before I found this thread.
- Caller: CRA
- cmWe just received the same call. Dont know from who. I will post it on Facebook to warn our friends at least.
- Natasha BaryckyI received a home phone call on July 21st from the CRA at 4:09 pm from an east indian man stating that I owed back taxes to the Canada revenue agency for an amount of 1,600.36 dollars and that if I give that said amount I would not be arrested in 48 hrs. I had received info from both Revenue canada and the quebec govt and new that that was not true!. He said that I should ask a neighbor or a friend for the money and not tell anyone. This was very upsetting and I am giving this information so that this will not cause anyone any distress as well. What a scam!.......Terrible that this kind of things go on!
- ABI just received a phone call from this number stating that I had an arrest warrant issued against me by CRA for tax fraud....I asked "what do you mean" and he repeated himself. I then asked "so what am I supposed to do with this information?" At which point there was silence of the other end of the line, presumably while he got direction on what to say next...I hung up. Should we be reporting these calls?

- spJuly23 at 2:40 pm got a call from 613-366-3330 from a man with heavy accent saying that he was from the CRA and sent me 2 letters and since I did not respond, I would be arrested... I laughed at him, told him it was not a valid call and hung up.
Also, plenty of noise in the background - Emily SToday, July 22nd, a heavily accented female voice left a message on my work phone claiming I would be immediately arrested for tax fraud if I did not call back right away. I had to listen to the message a couple of times- very difficult to understand, with a significant pause before saying my name. There was much interference from background noise of many people talking.
I can only imagine the panic these calls generate among the more vulnerable targets. Count me in if I can be of help in stopping these individuals. Sincere thanks to all who posted.- Caller: Claimed to be CRA
- Call type: Debt collector
- Pedro AUnfortunately, the same CRA scam. Told me to call back if did not believe him and that his name is Harry Johnson ( Ya, right! ).
Was asking for my wife, but could hardly understand him. Couldn't even pronounce her name.
I asked what was it due to and he said it was back taxes. He asked for personal information, but I refused.
My question is - can the police do something about this, or not?- Caller: Caimed to be from Canada Revenue Agency
