Got a call today that said:
“My name is officer Johnathan Knight from CRA, that is Canada Revenue Agency. The matter in hand is extremely time sensitive, and needs your urgent concentration for the same. The reason for the urgency is that we have found misconduct on your tax papers, because of which you are found fallacious, and under federal investigation. Don’t try to disregard the message, and if done, it will be seen as an offense from your end. Give me a call back as soon as possible. Again, this is officer Johnathan Knight from Canada Revenue Agency.”
Looked online and saw that this is being said to a ton of people and is a SCAM. Don't answer if called by this number.

Same as a mentioned above. It's a recording. You can't interrupt the caller. Don't call the number.

J'ai reçu un message de ce numéro de téléphone ce matin 8h45. La dame me donne ce numéro à rappeler, soit 613-366-3408 et dit être de Revenu Canada. Elle parle anglais.
Toutefois l'afficheur indique 613-704-1000

moi aussi j ai recu  2messages j ai meme téléphoné et le M.  ne parlait pas francais donc j ai demandé à parler en francais et il m'a raccroché la ligne .... assez weird...

got the exact same message left on my voice mail... the call woke me up at 4:30 am . I guess the caller did not take into consideration that BC is 3 hours behind Ontario. Luckily I did not pick up the call and googled the registered phone number and voila my suspicion was right.

Received a call from this nutcase 3 times on Jan.22/16 to my home line.
Sounds very fishy.....

Received the same message 3x today. It's been on the news. SCAM

I called this number from both my house phone and my cell phone!!! It just hung up. Now that I have read these posts I'm worried that it might be able to Bill me some crazy amount of money or something! Is this possible just by calling the number and never making a connection?
