This is a fraud call, they call saying they are the Revenu Agency and want all sort of info because i am in a middle of a big fraude upon my name, i call and i hang up.

I got the same call they left a message and said I had 45 minutes to call back or the file would be sent for fraud.. Lol

I just received a call from this number.  So glad I found your site confirming my suspicions that this was a fraud call. Thank you again Michel Gravel.

caller said was he was from CRA (Canada Revenue Agency)
said "a case has been opened against you"
asked for his agent ID # before I would release info and he hung up

Person on the phone said that we owed the government some money. They said that they were going to call the police and send TWO CRA agents to my house right away. They even left their phone number to call them back (1 (613) 366-3428), when we were ready to pay.

I also received this call this afternoon and they left a message saying they were from Canada revenue and a case has been launched against me and I had 45 minutes to return their call or it would go to fraud etc. glad to know it's fake

just received this call today. June 30.    Canada Revenue Agency  (CRA) calling regarding a fraud in our name and we had to call back in 45 minutes.

Please flush this number, its a fraud, don't call back, it's coming from Ottawa region.

Yeah, I wasted time fretting over this one, I will know better next time.  Friend of mine suggested it was a prank so I googled his number.

A male voice started saying the call was from CRA in regards to some investigation, but they hung up before i could ask any questions.

Received a call from this number today saying it was tax fraud and call back before any arrest is made... Kinda scary but glad to know its fraud

Received four calls from the same person and said I would be going to jail for tax evasion and tax fraud.  First stated it was IRS and then the last call was CRA.  First number he left behind is:  703-957-7253 and second number is:  613-366-3428.  I knew it was fraud as I do not give out my home number to anyone as I have a cell. that I use constantly.

just received 2 calls from it tonight. Another person who takes advantage of other people. wow what a surprise. If they all again I am going to record the whole conversation and trace it back to where it came from.

We got this call today, call display was 613-366-3428 but he left 703-957-7253 number. The guy could hardly speak English. He said he was from IRS and we were being charged with tax evasion and fraud. Might have been scary if it wasn't so stupid. 1st off make sure you use the right tax office for the country you call. In Canada it's CRA. 2nd as much as I think the tax office is staffed by morons, I think they are more articulate than this guy. My 9 year old speaks better. Do not fall for this. The CRA and IRS would never call and leave a message like this.
