automatic message. Claiming to be an officer working with CRA.

Automatic message. I called back and he claimed to be with CRA. Even gave a badge number. Once I pressed him, the line suddenly went dead. SCAMMER!!

Left number said Ior my lawyer  need to call back

Automated message. Man claiming to be with anti-organised crime division of CRA. Left the 613 number stating for me or my lawyer to call back or "suffer the consequences", so to speak.
Contacted local municipal police to report the incident, police aware of it already.

This number called me as well with the same Revenue spiel! SCAM

Left voicemail stating he was an officer with the CRA....I called back and he claimed is name was Office Sean White with the CRA badge number 10196.  When I started asking questions, he hung up...I called back...he hung up again....game over.  The nerve.

Got the same call and voicemail message as the folks above. I won't be returning it.

I just got the exact same call.  Thanks, everyone.  Now I can be certain it was a prank.

Caller left a voice message on my phone saying that he is Sean Wright from CRA and asked me or my lawyer to call back immediately. I checked with CRA who said that there was no communication made with me. Advised me not to give any personal info to this people. It looks like a kind of scams listed on CRA website.

Left computer generated voice message about exactly what you guys posted. Thanks for the heads up everyone!!!

Exactly the same as above, didn't answer, left a voicemail saying my lawyer needed to call back or the consequences would be "on  me". Scam!

I got the same voice mail from officer Sean Wright, didn't mention CRA but Same comment stating you or attorney must call. He added that he had left a message Feb 2, today is the 22. No previous messages.

Got same call. From Ontario. "Sean White" Left vmsg with THREAThing tone.
Very unnerving even though we know it is a scam!
Pls report to local police.

I received a call and after 5-7secs I heard a recording. Man claiming to be working for the crime investigation division of CRA. Left the 613 number stating for me to call back asap.

My parents in Victoria received the same vm from a Sean White. Said he was from the CRA's Tax Crime Investigations on Tuesday.  Didn't think to google first before calling him back and leaving a vm. Clearly a scam, lesson learned.

Same message left for me as well, I sent a text message to the number telling him I am contacting police and then blocked it. Elder abuse is real and many elderly people fall victim to these scams! Spread the word.

Automatic message. I called back and he claimed to be with CRA. Even gave a badge number. Once I request they send me all the information to me by mail so that I understand what was going on, the phone cut off when I was trying to tell them  my address. SCAMMER!! Please report to local RCMP if any one encounter the same and spread the words.

Received a call from this number, didn't answer, but VM left was an automated message from Off. Shawn White threatening legal action if I don't return his call.

I just received the same call but after checking the number this site came up warning me about it so I didnt call back.

Received a vm similar to what others have said. Thought it was a scam right sea as the CRA only communicates through mail. Searched Google and ended up here. Will
report this number to the CRA.
