got a call just 5 minutes ago scam scam ..be careful..

claimed to be from rev Canada and that we need to pay via western union... yah right

Foreign sounding voice on the other end claiming they are from CRA and our house is under seizure!

they called and stating they are from rev canada and i telling me that CRA issued a warrant letter twice already that i have not answered due to wrong filing of my T4...and all mails were returned so they wanted to help me out to resolve this wrong filing.
i asked for his name, the company he belongs to,  contact number and location so i will call cra canada and investigate this; then he hanged up.

Tired of these phone call, why can't the phone companies put a stop to them

Received several calls from this number but no message. Latest call left a message similar to that reported by Jay on July 6 and directions to call the number back for more information. I did not return the call. I hope you can nail this guy quickly and put a stop to their scams.

Left a message saying CRA had filed a lawsuit against me, and a number to call back was repeated twice. Recording then ended with "have a nice day",  but the case number or who they were calling was cut off the beginning of the message. The voice sounded like a usual pre-recorded computerized male voice. Freaked me right out, even though I have no reason for CRA to sue me.

we got an automated call today saying they were from Revenue Canada and that they were going to sue (yeah right).  They called a few weeks back.  That time it was a guy with a very heavy Indian accent.  I then spoke to him in French and he was clueless.   I don't know how to get rid of the caller.
