If they have a warrant out for you.They will not let you know about it till they show up at your door.They never call people to let them know because, they don't want to scare that person away it would be harder to find that person.

Yes, same here. Today, my wife answered the call and a man with an East-Indian accent said that there is a warrant for her.  My wife hung up.

This number called at 5:50 AM and all I heard was "Mister Jim?"
Sounded like the same voice from before claiming to be from Microsoft and wanting to access my computer to repair it.
I waited for a bonus offer to buy the Brooklyn Bridge!

Some body called from that number and said that my name got in some investigation from Government. He said my name right. But when I asked, where my name got,he hang up.This happened not first time, Another time call from Taxes and also hang up.

Called me on July 28, 2015 at 7:00 AM.  No voice.

A man with accent called from this #. He asked to talk to my wife. He said: I am calling from Revenue Canada, your husband is under tax fraudulent investigation, we have turned this to RCMP. He asked for money to help solve the problem. My wife told him that forging government officials is a criminal offence in Canada. He hang up.

Says I am charged with tax fraud.  I am on disability and don't pay taxes.  I told this east Indian man this and he hung up.

This number called me and knew my name. He said something about revenue canada and when I said I don't understand a word he was saying he hung up. Please report this number to the authorities.

Phone rang at 5 to 7 am. No message left. How do we stop these guys !!

Same story , Indian guy saying he is from revenue canada , I didn't file my taxes and warrant for my arrest , I said he is wrong and I hang up , don't understand how could he keep doing this and not been caught? Poor people who fall with these scammers!

Phone rang at 5 to 7 am, I didn't answer, and then saw the above posts.  I have a close relative who has fallen for these type of scammers...

called at 7:25 this morning, just dead air when I answered. Can't something be done to stop these calls? I am on do-not-call list but doesn't seem to stop them.

I got a call....there was a lot of noise on the phone and the accent was quite thick.  I could not understand a word and finally hung up.  Figure it is scam...and looking at this site has confirmed.
