This is a scam. A guy with a very thick Indian accent called saying that he was from CRA and that my husband has miscalculated his taxes for 2009-2015 and that he owes over $6,000. They won't provide any confidential information and even had an old address for my husband that's over 10 yrs old. I played along for a bit and got his name Jordan Marsh which he even gave me a badge number and a supposed case number. He basically trying to get from us the name of our criminal lawyer.

A scam,  a fellow with a very thick accent called to threaten with legal action and take all of our assets on behalf of the CRA.

He got reaaly angry when I started playing Mary Had A Little Lamb on my touchtone phone

A robotic message saying they are calling from CRA and threatening legal action if I don't call back within 24 hours.Called them back a man with Indian accent answered and said his name is Steve Nash,ya ok definetly a scam.

Previous calls from "CRA" received a couple months ago. Now this. When I got snarly they called back 5 times in a row. This time the guy claims to be Revenue Canada. Isn't that what cops call "personation?"  How do they get away with this nonsense?

Just got a call from this number and almost fell for it... made me very nervous! It claimed that they are putting a lien on my assets if I don't call within the next 24hrs. But I realized quickly that it must be a scam.  I did call CRA using their legit number to make sure this is a scam.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!   All they want is your money.  Robotic voice says they will put lien on your bank account if you don't call back in 24 hrs.  If you have any doubts, call the real CRA number and get a REAL CRA representative.  These scammer losers are just out to get money and at tax season they go into high gear.  It's not real.  Do not be a victim.   Don't get nervous.  Don't call back.
