Fraudulent call claiming to be CRA.

The same just happened to me. Using threats they would garnish wages and bank accounts.  Also an agent would come to my house if I didn't return the call.

Automated message claim to be CRA and they are preparing to take legal action.

spam.. stating they were from CRA, but CRA doesnt use automated messages let alone call you! Beware!

This caller wanted me to reply immediately as I had to arrange payment for outstanding income tax and a representing of CRA would contact me soon to go through the details with me in person.

Bad scam our CRA do not call on the phone.

I am to return call immediately, their automated system must be getting worn out... didn't complete phone number.   Besides I wouldn't call anyways I am not going to pay any long distance phone for anyone with CRA.  CRA always communicate by mail and more recently (if you have account) sends text or email to notify you that they have communication for you.

Same as the others... The message said word for word!
 In the next 24 hours we will be marking lean on your address in bank accounts due to your inability's to settle your dues with the CRA  A bill collection officer will visit you soon to complete the paperworks if you have any questions then can call our tax default line 613366548 if you don't call immediately or if we don't hear from your attorney either then you will be sole responsible for all legal consequences goodbye

Same as other posts. Can't believe that the police or "any powers that be" can't do anything to these crooks. Do not answer, block the number and never fear this is a scam!

The usual ccra scare scam. Scum of the earth. Our local Metro (Ottawa West) as notices posted at all their cashiers, to spread the word. You can help too!

SCAM! They claim to be the CRA and that you owe a significant amount of money to the gov. DO NOT give them any personal information.

i got the same recording message just 10 minutes ago and hung up.
