got a call threatening legal action

Also got this call for threatening lawsuit from CRA, but left no name of its employer or company name.

I got a call from this number. When I answered, I got a random recording threatening legal action. I called it back. They asked if I was home alone. When I said no, they confirmed the address.  I said that is NOT my address and then was hung up on.

Threatening with legal action from cra.  Might be a scam, have not received any letter from cra.

got this message about car legal action as well. avoid calling the number back. you can refer to CRA website with them describing fraudulent calls. Do not give your personal information out.

Received message a few mites ago. He could hardly speak english it sounded like he was reading off a piece of paper. What a joke.
I feel like phoning him  back and say he is not very good at pretending he is the  Canada Revenue Agency haha. I wish there is away to stop these calls.I get a lot of calls everyday it is very annoying:/  Some people fall for this stuff. It is just wrong:(

Got message on answering machine from 'revenue agency' that they are calling regarding my 'offense'. If I wasn't call back they would take legal actions up to the federal court.  It sounded like this call came from far away.

I got that massage on answering machine, that he is David Grey and calling regarding CRA and if I didn't call back, ASAP then it will end up in court before judge. I'm shocked and gave a call it was not responding. the same number mentioned

Claimed to be CRA.  Left message about legal actions due to fraudulent taxes.  Said they had an affidavit against me.  Called them back talked to someone with a very thick accent and not very professional.  Asked me for the name of my criminal lawyer.  Told them her I would provide any information unless they told me what my SIN was.  Said she couldn't for some reason I couldn't understand with her thick accent but she could give me my address (which was correct).  When I refused to give any information they said they were sending the "authorities".

said they were sending the police to my door in 30 minutes. all i could do was laugh.

Got a call/message from 613 366 6717 claiming to represent CRA and said that if the call was not returned we would be prosecuted.  Two sure fire reasons this is a scam:  they claimed that charges would be brought to the grand jury.  We don't have a grand jury in Canada haha nice try.  Second: A real collections officer from CRA would leave his name and phone number and ALWAYS address the message to a person.  They would never leave a general message for just anyone.

yep twice in same afternoon claiming 2nd attempt from Revenue Agency to appear before criminal judge and federal grand jury.  We can laugh it off bc we can verify its a scam, but to those who takes this seriously, this stress can cause real harm to their mental health.  And who has a right to inflict this on others?  The accent seems to be Asian.

I get this stupid calls all the time. Its so annoying.

Yes, just received a call just like those listed from other people; claims that I'm facing legal action; poor English. Needs to be reported.

I received two calls this morning from then. However when I answered I got a womans voice saying "This is not a valid extension"

got a voice mail from a male caller claiming to be from CRA and threatened for legal action if call is not returned!!! 100% scam reported to Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

This number kept calling mine periodically throughout the morning.  Each time I answered I got a recording saying the I had chosen an invalid extension.  I then called the number and got the same threat of legal action against me (using an incorrect surname) from CRA that others have posted.

The same happened to me this morning.  When I called the number to ask them to stop calling, a man threatened me, saying he was calling from the CRA and I was named in a legal action.  In doing so, he used an incorrect surname for me.
