not sure but let me know if you find out. My message says there is a legal case pending in my name (although they did not say my name) and I should call back or my lawyer should.  If not they will file the charges against me.  Doesn't sound right to me.

Similar to Sandra:  A threat of a lawsuit, but not naming anyone and not saying who is suing.  They have phoned multiple times.

got the same call last night about legal case against me not giving my name.  I think it is a scam and similar to other calls I have received before.

Same as above.  Called the number.  person gave his name as Jack Bruno.  Claims he works with CRA in Ottawa.  Subject has a strong East Indian accent.  Told me I come come to Ottawa CRA and ask for him by name.  Big time scam!

I had two of these messages by the time I returned home from chemo. I know they're a scam, because I've worked in the legal field for most of my adult life. I plan to report the number and the calls to the federal fraud department so they can look into these losers.

Same as above, a generic threat of some impending action against "nameless" me from "mystery" plaintiff with the addition of potential criminal action. I did call the fraud department of the Toronto Metropolitan Police. There's a lot of this going on. remember it's tax season.

I found the same message on my phone--am kind of surprised they didn't just wait to deliver their 'message' until they had a live person to talk to...
