Guy claims to be from Ottawa as CRA officer.  He gives the CRA address & demands cash in like 30 minutes. He is scaring law abiding citizens & he is a fraudster. Different guys call with different names & different accents. I reported this no. to CRA & Canadian Anti Fraud Center.

This number called pretending to be from CRA and asking for a certain amount of money within an hour. They try to scare you and say you've done a fraudulent crime and tell you to go buy a bond and send them the # directly. First sign was that there was no real letter sent in the mail from CRA so it was obviously a scammer.

This is officer james morgan.......call us immediately.......or face cosequences..........good day

Today twice I got this call saying This is James Morgan............call us immediately. It's time sensitive issue............or face consequences. ......good day

I have also received the same call, from the same number and person
The message was the same as well, telling me to pay up amounts of money or consult with an attorney

Same message. Takes you by surprise. I know better once I thought about it, but it could scare some people in acting on it.

Got the call today as well, left a message to call immediately or face consequences.  Obviously fake, reported number to Anti-fraud center.

I have also got this type of call from James Morgan.Asking me to pay $1920 amount.

A pre-recorded message was received by me at 855 AM  March 17th. The message claimed it was from CRA Officer James and that we are suppose to return the call otherwise "good lick to me and my attorney".

When I called back, he claimed to be an associate of James and that he had twice sent a letter at my address which returned undelivered. It was a tax claim. He wanted to know if I have a lawyer and I should contact my lawyer. So I told him send the tax claim and then I will see. He said he would send in 48 hours. Obviously when I said mail the tax return again..the trick did not work.

This James Morgan left a message today for me as well to call him back on some sensitive issues.  Must be reading these posts to analyse how many have gone waste.  I just wish that everyone who receive calls from JM could simply google his name or phone number to avoid this deception.

It is a scam.  I am an accountant and a client just called me about receiving this call.  He owes no money.  The person told him NOT to call his accountant or he would be in trouble.  I am his authorized representative.  They have to talk to me.

Received recorded phone call message from 613-704-0177 with a slight Scandinavian accent. Called the number and a person at the end said Canada Revenue Agency, officer Ryan Davis speaking. This is obviously a fraudulent call.
