Possibly fake company or scam

Got a call today from someone stating they are trying to collect on a debt that I have already paid, I believe this is a scam as when I look up the company on google it is not a collection agency

I have gotten several calls from this company and when I call back it says the voice mail is Wilkinson and garth

phoned several times over a few weeks, never left a message ..... returned a call to find out who they were, refused to answer questions

Called a few times. I think it's Veritas Alliance collection company. veritasalliance.ca

They are Veritas, debt collection company that a lot of big company uses. Always confirm the phone number if they give you a phone number to call. They called regarding my Enercare bill, and actually gave me enercare's number to call. They've also called me before about overdue payments. I think they are legit, but always double check the info they give you.
