CRA scam???..."time sensitive issue, call immediately to avoid prosecution" etc.

i receive the same call too. what did you do? havent got time to phone CRA yet. but i'll do on Monday.

I plan to ignore it.  It is a scam. They are looking for money or personal information. It is not CRA.

Well they have been calling none stop this morning and I can attest they are not Revenue Canada, as the called where coming in while I was on the phone with Revenue Canada for another matter. Revenue Canada does not leave message like that. Either someone will call you or they send you a letter and their prefered method is letters as it leaves traces of communication while calls don't.

Automated call from "CRA" about an urgent matter.  Sounds like a scam.

Left message saying from CRA, need to call back right away in regards to back taxes and left message again a minute ago today.

I have been getting calls from this number every day. I checked CRA on-line, no messages, I think this is a scam

Caller leaves message that call is from Canada revenue agency. It is apparent that it is a scam. CRA only corresponds thro. letters

I have been receiving non stop calls from an automated message stating they are calling from CRA They start at 6:30am just came home 5 messages !
Now its a man claiming he's a lawyer on behalf of CRA and to have my legal counsel available

I just got this call too Offiver James Morrison ive been getting these calls non stop. And same with a lot of my family members same last name . makes me think they are going down the list in the phone book. I know its a scam I just hate getting home at night and having 5 messages from these clowns

I had a message on my answering machine. 613-704-1348 Had Ontario on the call display. Person with a thick middle eastern accent claiming to be an "officer", and if myself or my attorney didn't call back about this "time sensitive"  issue,  the situation would fall badly on me.  Riiigggght.....

Just received that call from supposly a Sherriff Officer and it is urgent and I have to call back. I was curious so I did call back and no answer, always busy!! Like I have time to deal with stupidity like that

Just received a call from someone who claims to be from CRA -person has a thick middle east accent who claims to be officer James Morrison - from  1-613-704-1348-told to return call or there would be problems.My daughter in law just recently received the same type of call and before talking to anyone panicked and ran to send over three thousand dollars via money gram to USA  and told to mark it as a gift..

A women left a message from this number saying that if they dont hear from attorney then they will persecute.
The message was not even complete

Just received a call from these clowns. Exact same language as above... 'will fall badly on you'... b.s. If I receive another call, I'll threaten to trace it and report it to the RCMP. I deal with the CRA regularly and they NEVER leave messages like this. They are professional and you don't hear the call centre clatter in the background.

Don't call them back. It will just verify your information and subject you to further harrassment.

Received a call as well this morning from this number...person claiming to be officer James Morrison...with a heavy accent...couldn't even speak proper English...I'm sure someone with a surname like that would have better command of the English language...don't anyone be fooled...ignore and delete the voice message...I hope something apprehends these prick(s) for harassment!!!

First of all her accent was so strong that I could not understand what she was saying. And I do have experience with accents. She also introduced herself as officer whatever, male name, but definitely it was a female voice.

I got call from the same number and my husband got it as well. Again time sensitive from officer James? The message said it is time sensitive. If you don't call back I wish you good luck.

Those people called me and claimed that i did tax fraud! and police coming to arrest me in 45 minutes!!
