An "agent with the CRA" called to tell me that there are serious legal actions being taken out in my name and I need to call this number immediately to face the consequences. It is an extremely accented voice... it is the CRA scam where you have to pay them the "taxes owed immediately" or go to jail.
Please don't fall prey to this extortion.

Same as above: called 5 times today!

Had 7 same messages left on my answering machine yesterday with calls made as often as 20 min. Very annoying!!! Still calling today.

Just got a call from this number. Answered it, dead air. I hung up.

Got several calls from this number, talking about serious legal consequences and then other calls with dead air as above.  Calls couple times a day. Fed up.

Just had a call and heard noise in background after answering. Then a few seconds later they hung up.

Yup. Got this exact call from this exact number.

These scammers also called me.  I have NO unpaid taxes.

Yup - getting these calls too - every day from a variety of different "613" numbers.  I tried calling back at first - only to be told the number is "out of service" or the call just didn't ring through.  My taxes are done professionally every year and the company assures me all is fine.  Now I just refuse to answer the phone when I see one of thesenumbers on my call display.

It's a scam.
