Got a call today from this number saying he was with the Canada Revenue agency and telling me that there is an arrest warrant against me. When I questioned why, he said it is for tax evasion. I asked him again who the hell he was, and he said that I would be arrested within 45 minutes, and then he hung up.

Got a similar message on my phone. The arrest warrant is against the property. Did not specify who the call was for. Tried calling back, rang once and then disconnected

Got same call, called back no answer. Called me again and I asked him to tell me my name and he hung up.

Got multiple calls from them. Never picked up the calls. They left robotic messages saying "there is a case being registered against you. Call back immidiately before you are arrested" or some BS. Registered tge number as spam in my phone and ignoring all further unrecognized numbers.

1. Never used my name or any name for that matter.
2. It was a robotic voice that was prerecorded
3. Vague and alarming. Designed to scare you into action.

Dont evwr trust these calls. They are ALWAYS a scam. If you pick up the phone to something like this, never give your information, never arrange any kind of payment.
They never have any information or proof of what they are or what they want from you. They just spam dial phone numbers until they find one that works and try to scam you for money or sensitive informtaion (your SIN or other).

Canada Revenue scam!!!  Do not give any information, whoever they are, are using scare tactics and intimidation!  Canada Revenue will NEVER call regarding a tax issue, they will always contact you by letter!!
