Voice message claims to be CRA

I didn't answer today, but they left a message once before. as Maneli says... it is an ugly scam according to a RCMP I spoke to, and if you are on to them, they call back again and again and call you filthy names.  Don't pick up at all.

I  got a voicemail from this number claiming CRA will take legal action. I don't owe the CRA anything  so this is suspicious. I called back twice and after one ring, the call ended.  CRA don't call people if they owe money. They'll send you a letter. I got a voicemail last month too about my SIN number so I  called CRA.  They said they didn't call me. This is  all a scam.

These scum bags were calling my sister.. she started calling the number back and hanging up.. Now they Blocked her number.. everyone should call this number an keep them busy !

Thank you for sharing your experiences. My husband and I were getting really worried until we read this and now everything said here makes sense and yes, CRA always sends letters and we received none.

These guys r some scammers.  Received voice mail staring to call back before legal action is taken.  Called them back they asked my name and I said to them I'll give u my phone number and ic abloom me up that way.  He got angry and hung up.  I then proceeded to call them back about twenty times with no answer.   Stop these freaks

Got a msg on my voice mail 16 Sept 2015 from "CRA".  Seemed fishy so I immediately hunted out this website.

Have been getting a call twice a day from a different guy.  Called 3 times...no answer.  Finally got a hold a an actual person today...couldn't get anymore INDIAN sounding than this guy, but when I asked his name...funny enough...he said..."MIKE DAVIS!"  I told him my name was Raminder and to call me back in 15 minutes...never heard back from him!

Called at 6:45 this morning. it was a recording. The man said the "issue was time sensitive and that i should call the # 613-704-1832 before the CRA took legal action against my name". I have not replied, but send a message to my accountant.
