A Computerized Robot voice claiming to be from the CRA informing me i'm being investigated for Tax fraud and evasion and to call this number immediately Or an arrest warrant will be issued.  I'm guessing this is a new spin on the scam, Using a robot voice so you can't tell their foreign altho a huge red flag for me was not even anyones name and 4 people live here with all different surnames

Just received this call as well. Arrest Warrant? Give me a break. Even wished me a " blessed day " at the end.

Except for the "have a blessed day" sign off on the recording, this is a well-done effort. This one is not originating in India but in Nigeria, that's the accent of the perps. I called the number to have some fun, and the frontline CSR was by far the best of the bunch - he had a flawless script and his delivery was outstanding. However as they worked through their hand-offs, the quality of the delivery and the message deteriorated. A few incorrect word usages, trouble maintaining the sequence of information. I finally got to the guy who was assigned to give me payment instructions. I told him I only had about $5000 in cash in the house. He directed me to the closest Moneygram office and told me where to send the money. Then he said I would need a secret question and answer. I said "How about my favorite activity?" and he said "That's a very good question. What is your favorite activity?" I answered slowly "Shooting...[***]." He said "Shooting...?" and I said "[***]. Dirty [***] [***]. Would you like me to shoot you, [***]?" He burst out in profanity before hanging up.

Computerized robot voice called me around noon, on October 21st, 2015. I'm gonna block the number. Hopefully I won't get other calls. I'll tweet about it too, to alert my followers.

This number keeps calling my daughter and it's gotten quite annoying. It really scares her and sickos like this are stupid for calling people trying to scam. Some people need to grow up and if they really need money get a f**king job. Call the number back if you get a voicemail and just say something about figuring out who they are or where they are, whatever just don't put yourself in a dangerous situation.

Just got a call telling me to call 613 - 704 - 2173.  Robot voice telling me to call immediately or an arrest warrant will be issued for revenue fraud.  Don't think the government would use a robot voice and I have these numbers been reported?

Beware off this scam Google IRS phone scams more people need to report them and just post . I talk to the guy he had a cent said I was going to jail and the cops would show up and come to my house in 1 hour if I didn't pay they is scripted out and they read it off a paper trying to scare people he wanted me to a store for a money gram while he stay on hold on my cell phone and I couldn't ell no 1 he said since it was recorded he had fake badge number. All this scammers do is try make people get up set and afraid and scare them into paying money don't fall for this scam call the cops and see how fast they hang up. Warn others about these scam this a spoof phone number

Received an automated telephone call from John Myers, 613 704 2173, threatening to have me arrested for tax fraud and evasion. If I did not call back immediately a criminal warrant for my arrest would be issued today. The last thing said was, "Have a blessed day."
I almost had a heart attack. Who can these threatening people be reported to? They are trying to extort money from people!!!!!
My lawyer's clerk says this is a scam. The CRA notifies people professionally through letters not cold calling scams.
Relax and have a good day. Just ignore the threatening call.

same comments as above, received a computer generated call saying a warrant is being issued for your arrest, and the RCMP is being contacted. I called right back and the caller responded CRA Fraud. They had an East Indian accent, and the connection was very staticky. I said I don't believe this is the CRA and he responded saying the same this as the original computer generated message, that he is sending the RCMP and local police with a warrant for my arrest. I spoke to 311 operator and this has been going on for over year and a half. Don't give them any personal information and contact antifraudcentre website if you think you can help stop them from doing it again.

Twice now, Oct. 29 and 30. No intro, just hard robo voice, thought it maybe John Baird, or Pierre Polievre, then warrant issuance nonsense. Some other citizens in Kootenay West getting same call.
