I have received calls from this number along with others indicating it is CRA (Canada Revenue Agency). The person identifies them self and continues to say that I am in serious trouble with CRA for tax fraud, where a file has been opened against me. This person also indicates that if I fail to contact them immediately that I will be arrested by the RCMP, and legal action against me will take place. I've contacted and notified the RCMP fraud/identity theft unit, logging a complaint against this phone number. It's frustrating that these outfits are allowed to pose as the CRA, threaten Canadian citizens of all ages and still get away with it. If I was a new citizen to Canada, or a senior without knowledge of technology to check situations like these, I'm sure I'd be taken advantage of and possibly have identity theft and or hard earned money! This needs to be stopped!
