Claimed to be from CRA then hung up.

Left a message saying he is from CRA (Eric Foster) and that I'm being investigated. Total crap.

 this # 613-704-2971  is a Scam   Must be investigate   by Federal laws  all way s calling  some body for non sence

Eric Foster (with a serious foreign accent) just  called from the CRA .. what a bunch of bull.

East Indian sounding guy called threatening my girlfriend with a pending lawsuit. Sounded urgent. Said he was from CRA. Make sure to confirm this by calling CRA directly.

This is a scam they are useing a spoof number trying scare people into believing them. There in a call center in India

Claimed he was from the CRA. He said my husband filed his taxes incorrectly from 2009 & that he owed money. If he didn't pay, his wages would be garnished & his credit ruined.

this person called left their name as Eric Foster and when i asked them to give me more information he used F word and hung up

how do you know this isn't the cra? this eric foster just called me and said their is a lawsuit against me, my social insurance number would be investigated. I owe lots of money. do you know for sure this is fake?

Scam. Received a call read by a computer voice simulator (ie not an actual person) claiming to be Eric Foster from the CRA. The message is adamant "this message is for you", yet didn't specify an actual name of who the message was for. These guys are probably phishing for personal information they can use for identity theft. Frankly, this is not the CRA's style. They like to send letters.

Claiming to be Eric Foster from the Canada Revenue Agency telling me I will suffer severe consequences if I do not return this call and that my SIN will be under investigation. REALLY???
"Go ahead Mr. Foster!!! Send the cops and put the handcuffs on and haul my [***] from my home. Your nothing but a pathetic loser hoping to pray on people who unfortunately fall for these types of scams. Come find me Mr.Foster.... I'll be waiting for you."

Somebody with an Indian accent saying he is from the CRA, and I am under investigation. Asked me if I had a lawyer, and I said my taxman handles all that stuff. He than hung up.

Called saying they are revenue Canada and have a serious lawsuit filed against me for mistakes made in my personal tax returns.  Telling me an amount needs to be paid today at Canada Post.  If I don't pay today it will be filed in court against me.  When I said, this doesn't make sense, he said, it will make sense when the officer comes to arrest you, then hung up.

I just had a call on my answering machine computerized saying my SIN number is being red flagged and I will be under arrest if I don't phone this number back right away!!!hoping this is a scam!plus the number had a bunch of other numbers above the 613 number and when I see those kind of numbers I never answer the calls

This one left a message to my phone and saying that I will be investigated. Such a crap because he didn't even know who he was calling cause he didn't know my name

Phone number 613-704-2971. Officer Foster from CRA left a message on Dec. 3-2015 to call immediately or else there could be a serious lawsuit against us. My SIN number could be under investigation. He had a very deep voice with a North American accent.

Obviously a scam if the government did call you it would be from a local number and CRA would show in the caller id not to mention the foreign accent and not actually having anyone's names or info.

Don't be suckers they are send a letter first. Its never this urgent.
