First part cut off. Last part talks of a "case" and says I should call the number (same as called) for more info ASAP.

Received a call from 613-777-0078 claiming they are conducting a criminal investigation against me for CRA. Yeah right. Not a chance I will give you any information.

Scammers have tried calling me multiple times in the past two weeks from a variety of numbers.  Looks like this is just one more spoofed number because I have blocked the others.  I called CRA to report the number and they confirmed it was a scam and there was nothing wrong with my account (but then I already knew that)

Scam call from 613-777-0078

Got a voicemail that said there has been a criminal case under our name regarding tax positioncy (it cut off) and  that I had to call them back asap. Called back saying I was a Revenue Officer and that I needed information on who he was regarding some paperwork and he shut the phone off. Scammers.

Looks like it is same scam as above (by Anon) for me at my Calgary home phone.  Voicemail goes "...there is a tax deficiency and fraud case in my name.  Call back ASAP...".

I am not even calling back as it seems to be a scam.  That will just validate that someone at my phone number fell for the voicemail by responding.

I like encourage all the readers of these post to keep adding their experience too.

Same scam as the others mentioned above, "Revenue Canada" Tax Fraud, urged to call back at 613-777-0078.  Oh no I won't!

I recieved the voice mail and I phoned back and they asked me my phone number and I told them it and after I realized that why they didn't send me any letter and after I said that to them they shut off the phone . I'm worry now . I shouldn't call them back and gave them my phone number . What should I do now ???

Just got 2 voice mail messages about a case against me for tax fraud??? Why would CRA leave a message like that. I searched the no.and sure enough its a scam!

Same for me, but with number 0075 about tax fraud.. ohhhh, i will call then soon...
