My grandmother got a phone call from this number. She couldn't understand them so she hung up. They called her back and gave her a name of Roy Parker? My mom called the number back and got a voicemail for Magic Jack. Anyone else have an experience with this?

I received a call and the person gave me the same number. The actual number they called from was 1-613-993-7367 which is not in service. This person said they were calling from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. He had an Indian accent. When asked for name, he said his name was Ronnie Singh calling from Ottawa CAC department. He said someone was committing fraud on her identification and that they mailed me the IMMI 1000 form and I did not complete it. I told him I never got any forms. He said you can clear everything up by going to a gas station and buy 3 "Pay Power Reload Voucher of $300 each", total $900. When I started questioning him, he said the call was being recorded and he can not give out too much info due to the nature of the fraud being committed against me. He said he's sending a taxi cab to pick me up and take me to the gas station and he'll stay on the call the whole time and the call will continue to be recorded so that I can use the call for my defense in court.

When I questioned him some more, he started threatening me saying do you want to go to jail and that he's going to send an RCMP officer to get me. He scared me and I was in shock and confused. Thank God for cell phones and I called my brother-in-law who came over right away and took over the call. He also tried to scare him and said he'll go to jail. My brother-in-law told me to call the police while he was on the phone with this person. My brother-in-law said he's going to call the immigration centre right now and also call his friend who's an RCMP officer. At that point the guy said I'll connect you to a RCMP officer right away. Conveniently another person came on the phone acting like a RCMP officer with an Indian accent again. My brother-in-law told them off saying, letting them know he knew they were fraud. They said a couple of times that you're swearing at a RCMP officer, watch your language and that they're sending a RCMP officer to the house in half hour. My brother-in-law said go ahead we'll be waiting and tried to get more info to report them. They both hung up the phone immediately.

I called the police and they asked me to the fraud prevention. I will be reporting it to fraud prevention. So, people be aware of these types of calls and do not get scared. Calmly get all the info you can about these people and report them so that others can be protected from these criminals.

This number is a scammer. They are posing as immigration officers and a bunch of rcmp officer. They are scaring people and also threating on the phone.

I have reported this number to the local police station. Be aware its a big fraud.

We got a call from the number and were told to send 1500$, to settle a pending case Canada immigration has against us. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!  If you have any doubts tell him that you'll call back CIC for information and you'll hear the tone of his voice. File a complaint with the RCMP.

I got a call threat call from this number , there was a a bunch of people involved to threat u in different  ways, first there was a Chinese guy  who said me that he is calling from  immigration Canada that there's a case against me, then he transferred it to a lady, she was speaking English and the when she felt I can speak Urdu she spoke me in Hindi, she told me that I didn't fill a  yellow form which govt of canada has send me ,  for Pakistani  people, I said I didn't get any farm she said no , it's in record , so now as a penalty I have to go to Ottawa court or  I can pay penalty fee, to a rcmp officer. In Toronto which she will tell which officer I have to pay, the fee is  around 1200 $  which when. I will pay 90% would be refundable, then said my passport  is suspended and I can't go anywhere, because my identity is illegal now in Canada,  then she said u have to be on ph with me  so she will guide me which officer I have to pay ,and said I have to go Canada post near me, I said I have to talk my husband first she said no it's against rules of government u can't  get involved some third person , then she transferred it to his boss, the guy was Indian too, he  repeated same story, and said if I don't pay now rcmp officers will come in my home , I was so  confuesd ,but hang up the ph, so  plz be aware from these people. They r calling. Not only in Toronto but Calgary as well, one of my family members got same call,  police should take notice  of these  fraud people, otherwise they can deceive a lot of innocent people to get money

OMG SIMILAR STORY!!! THEY WERE SO RUDE IMMIDIETLY KNEW THEY WERE LYING. Canadian police or any goverment employees are bound by rule to talk to you nicely. even to criminals they talk with proper respect. I started asking a lot of questions to this guy so he started saying stuff like " don't try to be too smart okay with a thick asian accent. and then he transferred the phone to an indian sounding man. he rudely said " hey what do you think you are trying to do" then I got mad and hung up. they tried calling back but i didn't pick up.

omg more thing guys! for govement issues, canadian govement will always send you notice. by mail. they can never ask you or arrest you without proper notification. and never ever give your vital informations like credit car number, date of birth, passport no. etc. never!

i contact the office of immigration minister and told about this number, they called me and said this is not immigration number

They Called my dad today and said they are calling from CIC (They actually called from CIC number, but was actually spoofed number as it started with 011)Then they mentioned my Home address and said that my father has not submitted a few forms and that is why Government has issued arrest warrent against him, only way he can get away from this is by paying 2399$.

Initially some person with Canadian accent started talking(MAX MARSHALL), Badge ID:ON612 and asked for his cellphone number, when he denied giving it he said I need to transfer the call to Translator as you are not able to talk with me properly and making fun of me.

This New Guy Started talking in HINDI and started threatening him,
He Gave him Court Case ID, His name (SANJAY GUPTA) and his badge ID ON192805 and this phone number, just in case if phone disconnects and he need to call back give them court ID and badge ID so that they can transfer it to him

He said according to new bill C-24 any Canadians who are not born in canada is obliged to get some certificates from their home country and give it to confirm your status with some fees. For this they sent many letters but none were replied back so now you are about to get arrested and to get away from that pay 2399$ rite away. Which once received, some agent will come to your house to fillup some forms and then once his file is cleared he will get 80% money back in tax credits.

He said my father is on House Arrest and can not contact anyone so If he calls someone or receives call from someone on this or other phone than police will be dispatched rite away for his arrest but my father called me from his cellphone without letting him know and I told him, just hang up the phone as it looks like a scam. Till this point he was a bit worried and was not thinking in proper direction but than he realized it a bit but continued talking with that guy and started asking counter quesions

He asked him to send money to Attorney General THOMAS HOLT in Tennessee, US via Money Order
when my father questioned why US, its CIC... he said he is in US to attend some official visit (so my father realized its scam for sure)

Then he asked my father to go to Bank, takeout money and then go to post office to issue Money Order,
my Father said he does not know where post office is,
So He told him to give our postal code so that he can show him nearest Post office.
my father asked him he has our mail address (as they mentioned it in beginning) and he should have postal code too
He replied I can not do that for Security reasons... lol

Then my father said, I can not take out this much money from bank as it should be booked in advanced and need to tell them reason,
So he replied, just tell them its personal reason and dont tell them anything else
he also mentioned dont tell Post office that you are sending it to Attorney General as they will charge more
my Father said, post office have fixed charges... they dont charge on reason... lol
So he got a bit angry and started threatening him more
He said just write THOMAS HOLT dont mention Attorney General as his identity must remain secret as he is trying to help you to get out of trouble.... lolz

We are using Vonage phone so, I did call forwarding on my cell phone and asked my father to Hang Up the phone.
When he called back, he was shocked to hear my voice as when he called back I was takling through my car bluetooth and even he could hear my car and signals... I started threatening him that he is trying to irritate me by calling my number and I will call police if he calls back again... and actually he called back and I picked it up again... lol... he was confused... he started asking about my Father and I was like I dont know anyone like that but if he(my father) scammed him than I can report it to police on his behalf... he got shocked and hung up the phone and never called back.

My mother got a call from 6139128641 saying that she has an arrest warrant because she failed to update an identification form that falls under the Bill C-24. He gave his name as MAX MARSHALL (with an Indian Accent). HIs Badge #ON647. The call was on the phone first then he asked for my cell phone number and said to keep the home line on hold as its for training and quality assurance so do not hang up the phone. He gave us 2 options either an RCMP officer will come to our house and arrest my mom and keep her in custody till Friday (which is also when the court hearing was). OR we pay $1730.00 at a local Canada post and have the issues resolved in under half an hour. and we will get the refund back once the police officer brings the form to our house and we update it and my mom signs them.
He was very pushy and said I MUST make a decision now as not making a decision will result in my mom being arrested (as I didn't want that) i said ok ill go with paying the amount to Canada post.
Since my cellphone was busy and so was my home phone i couldn't make any calls so I got my laptop and did a quick search with the badge name and phone number he provided.
I was on the phone still i asked him to hold until i got ready to go to the post office (mind you he was getting very impatient as i was taking my time to look this up online). I came across this page and saw the name MAX MARSHALL. Then i got really upset because its early in the morning and i start work later in the afternoon i was excited to sleep in.
I hung up the home phone immediately while still on my cellphone. He got worried and asked "ma'am why you hung up the phone" with his broken english and I told him how he is a SCAMMMMMMMMM!!! he says no look up his information on google and people are just saying those things because they don't want to cooperate.
I hung up and he calls my cell back saying he is sending the RCMP officer. I LOST IT. I CUSSED HIS ASS like I have never cussed before.  THE END LOL
PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THESE SCAM ARTIST, THEY WILL TRY TO SCARE YOU TO GET MONEY FROM YOU.
I called the cops after and spoke to a police officer and she said yes in fact it is a scam and they are aware of people doing that and are working in resolving the issue. She also said if that were the case we wouldn't call you or ask you to go to the post office to pay they money.
THANK GOD I DIDNT PAY THEM AND I DIDNT FALL FOR IT.

I got a call from 613 944 4000 from max Marshall from immigration Canada. Is it for real
