Got a call from this number.  When I answered and said "hello" the caller hung up

Called me at 3:39 P.M. California time

He had knew my name and all.

We had contractors in the house and I asked him to hold on while I went out in the garage where it was quiet.

The caller hung up.

Answered and they hung up

When I answered, I heard a beep. Then the call disconnected. When I called the number back, it gave me options to press 1 to speak to a representative. When I did so, the call disconnected again. So, I called the number back and pressed 2 to have my number put on the do not call list and there was a recording with a man who clearly had a thick accent. No thanks!! Callers beware!! It's probably people wanting funds for ISIS.

this is a scam
direct tv sold my personal info. To this company (discount cable service)

if you call direct tv and do not purchase a service through them,
direct tv will save personal info. And sell to other companies.

They took my info and then put me on hold so they can check the prices that i was qualify for then the call disconnected when I try to call back a answering service pickup then after that I pressed the option to speak to a live representative and when it was supposed to connect me to a live representative it hung up on me I called several times and it keeps doing the same thing... This is a total scam i just hope they don't do anything to my info.

Said was att and was calling to set up service which where I live we do not have att in area as soon as husband questioned caller they hung up

Called me at 8:30 PM.  Knew my name and told me they were DP&L electric company and wanted me to switch my electric.

This is a voice recognition company. Probably hired by the government.
Don't answer. And turn your location off

Received a call from a VERY RUDE DirecTV woman. She was very hard to understand and once she realized that she was not going to save me money from Dish she hung up.

Called told me about  cable TV Promotion,   Gave address info then they hung up. trided to call back got dropped.

INumerous calls at least once a day. I *67 called back. No information about who they were--just touch tone choices of did I want to talk to a rep--have them call me back later--never call me back, etc. I hit the number to never call me back. A foreign voice stated "thank you for your call back-we will never call you again!" There was no mention of who they were and HOW  they could never call me again when they wouldn't have known my number!!

They call me about twice a day. I never answer and when I call the number it doesn't even ring.

Received a call from this number with the "can you hear me" scam description that has been going around.

614-398-3416 KEEPS CALLING MY PHONE! WHEN I CALL BACK IT DOESN'T RING THAN IT RINGS BUSY

This number called my cell phone at 6:36 PM on March 20.  It says calling from Columbus, Ohio; the voice message was blank, and the number did not ring upon call back.  After viewing this website, I called Direct TV to let them know I never authorized my number to be called for solicitations, and the rep you never heard of this...  She blamed it on another company, and set my information was not being shared....
