Here is what it is ***  "Hi this is a courtesy call to inform customers who are eligible to receive a discount from a Ohio energy bill to receive your discount please press 1 on your phone now and speak to a friendly account representative again please press 1 on your phone now to talk to an account representative and receive up to a 15 percent discount off A.P. energy."

It's a scam robocall.

I guess scammers never rest.  Call on ID says "DIR ASST    OH"  No message left.  Blocking

Scamming on memorial day?

No days off when you're relying on ripping people off to make your money. They run 24/7 365 days a year. Doesn't matter if it's Christmas, NYD, Easter, or Thanksgiving, if you've got a number that's reliable for an answer, expect to be called.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

Caller id = Name Unavailable.  No message.  Blocked

This was beyond strange - I'm used to the electric choice scammers, pretending to be the local utility offering some discount, but the CID came up as "Directory Assistance."  I just called 411 yesterday to look up a phone number, for the first time in <i>decades</i>.  I was amazed it still worked...

Another utility bill scam.  Left a vm with reference number and to have my electric bill in my hand and to call them back to get a discount.  Caller is shown as "Name Unavailable"

Call went to voicemail, but did not leave a message, just a dial tone.  Nuisance.

Caller didn't speak

Another power company scam call that hides its name from caller id (DIR ASST OH), does not identify itself in the call and tries to get you to believe it is your power company calling. Any caller that hides it's name/number, refuses to identify itself and demands your personal data is not worth doing business with.

Says they're from Ohio Edison and I can get a 15% discount on my bill. I don't have Ohio Edison. So tired of these robo calls.

If I want to switch my elec company, I"ll make the call.
If I want to see about lower rates, I'll initiate the call

Any area code followed by 555 and any last four numbers is that area's directory assistance. Another spoofed CID. Do not answer.
