DID THEY HAVE A VOICE BOX

I have at least 4 different phone numbers that this company (World Financial) calls from.  They *NEVER* leave a message, I've sat on the phone and said nothing, so they say nothing, and I hang up.  I've had verbally abusive and threatening "representatives".  I have told them I am on SSI, and they can't touch my income, I will make payments as I am able, *TO* the company I owe, and they harass me.

I get calls starting at 8am, and stopping somewhere around 9pm, multiple times a day, every day, regardless of whether I have spoken with them or not.  They have informed me if I talk to them at least once a day, they will leave me alone for that day.  If I make a promise of payment, they will leave me alone until the date of that payment comes due.  Untrue.  I talked to them TWICE just yesterday, and they called back 2 minutes later, then told me today that I haven't talked to them for 7 days.

VERY predatory, VERY harassing, VERY rude and abusive.  They call from: 913-677-8303, 614-945-5395, 614-729-3935, 614-534-2525.  My caller ID is clogged with calls from them, from different numbers, almost once an hour.

I a called today at work. Asking for me and I told them that their was no one here by that name and they hung up!

I get calls from all of these numbers several times a day too, starting at 7:00am, all the way to 9:00pm. Yes, I do indeed have debt that I am working hard to pay off. But I don't need to be reminded of that 4 times a day from extremely rude representatives!

They also leave voicemails, but don't say anything. Every single day I have to wipe the VM on my phone so that people who actually need to reach me, can leave a message.

Is there any way to block these calls? Or make them stop completely?

this company is the most harassing i have ever heard from. they call every hour on  the hour and sometimes multiple times in an hour. its ridiculous, i could be a day late paying my credit card and they will call me. they even somehow got my work phone number and i don't have it listed anywhere.. shady!!!

They just want to collect their money back. They do have some stupid and illegal ways to try to collect but they are just doing their jobs... I'm not in support of collectors trust me I hate them as much as everyone else... All you have to do is say that oh"whoever they are asking for" no longer works for YOUR BUSINESS they don't ask what business just your name and the phone number they are calling so they can remove it. Also tell them you have forwarding phone numbers for the person they are looking for and just tell them to hold for a minute so you can get your phone book and go to zabasearch.com search for someone with the name they are looking for and give them a corresponding phone number. They will start calling that person because they will have deleted the original phone number from their systems as it's highly illegal for them to call a business once told they cannot call.. This trick has worked for me with every single creditor I have ever had to deal with... Good luck to all of you... Oh NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR REAL NAME unless they are looking for someone else then just say you do not know the person and have never heard of them... same results but they make call back a few times to try and catch you in your lie...
