Got a live person that called for the first time in about 3 months.  They asked if I was Bill, and I said yes. They told me they was trying to collect money for an account with XXX.  Informed them that the account is upto date.  They told me that the system does not show that, and I owe them a stupid amount of 11,000.  I just started to laugh.  Told them I do not have an account with that company with a limit that high.  She told me that until someone from the company changes the amount that they are going to keep calling and requesting the money.  I was nice and said, you do that, I have added all your numbers to my Direct to Voicemail.  She said I can't do that, that I have to resolve this matter with them today.  I asked to speak with someone else that had some common sense.  She was offended and I got to speak to her manger.  This person is a bigger waste of our O2.  He told me the same thing, and said that if I do not take care of this matter in the next 72 hours, that they will start to put a lean on my house and my car.  Lets hope they do, cause this would be a great case in court.  If you are or know someone that works for WFB, do the world a favor and QUIT!  You can do better I hope.

A couple of years ago they called and called for someone who apparently had my cell phone number a LONG time ago.  After several calls, they finally removed my number.  Now, about 3 years later, they are starting again.  I have never had any credit with this bank so I know it has to be about that lady from years ago.  Grrr

I filed bankruptcy after losing my job 18 months ago and having medical debt on 3 cards. I've been in constant contact with all 3 companies. I don't have anything to do w/ WFB yet they continue to call my parents asking for me. None of those cards have anything to do w/ WFB yet they continue to call. It's horrifying enough that I had to admit to my parents I've had to file bankruptcy, trying to find work anywhere, sleeping on friends couches and pounding the pavements every day in whatever town I'm in. Just seems like these people are grasping at straws and trying to take advantage of the elderly.  I feel frustrated that I can't stop the harassment to my parents.

I made the mistake of getting this card when on a trip to Vegas earlier this year. When I tried to pay it when I got home to Canada, they would not accept any other credit card payments. The customer service girl told me to send in a Canadian cheque and it would be fine. Then a few months later, I'm getting statements with ridiculous late fees and these harassing phone calls. How do you get auto answer on your phone? I recommend never shopping at Anne Taylor stores, Ever!!

CCThey called me 5 am Sunday
They called me 5 am EST yesterday, Sunday. Had the breathing call, thought it odd when the heavy breather said NOOOO!!! IT WAS A WOMAN.
ILLEGAL! ILLEGAL!!! ILLEGAL!!!!  There's three things you can do. You should keep a journal in a three ring binder (so if you forget a day or incident you can put it In place as needed.) so you can build evidence to get them. If 10-20 people will do this over the next 2 months then turn them in to the government who is harsh on them. If 25-50+ would keep these records, band together, we can file a class action suit against them on contingency and make them pay us for every infraction -ALOT!!

    1. Return the favor, call for call, action for action. Risk? They try turn you into gov. The problem is you then have gov. ear, not much chance they'll do it. Costs time.
    2. Change your number. Big hassle. Which is bigger?
    3. Put it in writing. It puts teeth to your unfair collection practices claim to gov.
.  (get your phone co list every call on your bill. Will cost 2-5.00 for the months while record keeping. Far nor to get it later- @ $25/ page, yikes.

WE ARE NOT HELPLESS HERE. UNFAIR COLLECTION PRACTICES CARRY BIG CONSEQUENCES. People don't keep records, this is what they rely on so you lose the claim.

Anyone wishing to keep the records & put suit together email me @ bad collectorwfnb@Gmail

    criminal harassment

I keep getting calls 4 times a day from this entity. They seem to know how to disguise this number to look like they are calling from different cities so that it cannot be called back.  Since they never leave messages, this is a deliberate case of criminal harassment which almost caused me to hit another car at high speed. If you call somebody. it should be required by law that you leave a message with your name and physical address.

hey should be put in prison

These people call me AT LEAST once every two hourd during the day. Never leave a voicemail, and when I do decide to answer, people breath in the phone and hang up. I have no idea who they are or why they are constantly harassing me!

It's a debt collector, as others are saying.  They are relentless and extremely annoying, so I now use an app to block calls from their numbers.

The call was from Commenity Bank.  They manage several retail accounts. In my case it was Lane Bryant.  They are persistent but the debt was valid.  They are easy to work with, too.

This is the 130th number used by Comenity Bank. They have called 514 times since 3/28/19.  Some of their numbers have complaints from 13 years ago and for different finance firms.  They issue private label credit cards for companies such as Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie, The Limited, et.al.  (a 3 page list was posted for 614-212-5291 by Tori on 6/4/2014).  We don't have any delinquent debts, have not had any credit cards cancelled, have not received any collection letters, and have not been sued .
