I am getting blank calls from this number and not leaving any messages. Huh???

I also keep getting calls from this number and when I call back I get no anser.. Does anyone have any idea who this is?

Call this morning and didn't leave a message. I suspect that its University of Phoenix as I filled out a request for information last night.

Two calls about twenty minutes apart - i'm not answering

I've received up to 15 phone calls from this phone number in the past two days.  They have never left a message.  I'm not answering, and I'm not calling back to find out who it is.

I have been getting many calls from this number... for the last two days.  I think one of the hotels I stayed at in Vegas must have given my number out... because other than that I havent given out my number.

I have received calls from this number and when I googled the area code, it came out to Columbus, OH.  I don't live near this state nor do I know anyone from there.  I haven't answered the call and they have not left a message, but they keep calling me back, like 5-6 times in the past day!

I spoke with a friend who said it was probably a telemarketer or maybe a credit agency...but I have no idea why they would be calling me, being that i don't give out this number or have bad credit...hmm

Called this morning for a relative who lives in a foreign country and uses our phone for a US connection.  Would not tell me who he was-said it was a personal nature.  I told him if he gave me his name and the message that I sould pass it along.  He said "No thanks, goodbye".  It troubled me for the person.  Thank goodness, I googled the number and read these comments.

I KEEP GETTING THIS CALL OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I DONT ANSWER THE CALL SINCE I DONT KNOW ANYONE IN OHIO OR LIVE NEAR OHIO. I WISH THEY WOULD STOP CALLING. THEY CALL ALL DAY LONG.

This person has called like 10 times today!!! I answer and no one is there. I would like for someone to answer me so I can tell them to stop.

Received two calls from this number, did not answer.  I wish i knew who it was (maybe if they left a message??).

This number belongs to World Financial National Bank. I'm pretty sure they'd be calling you to try to collect a late payment on any of a number of store credit cards (Express, Limited, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, and many other stores use this bank for their revolving credit accounts). They called me 4 times today! Persistent! :P

They have been calling regularly and asking for my relative who is out of the country.  Sometimes they have said it was for his account with Eddie Bauer, sometimes they won't say.  At first, I got a number for him to call them back.  They gave me 888-275-2479.  I called it.  After going through all of the prompts and not giving them an account #, they asked for my 9 DIGIT SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!!!! Once I told them to stop calling, that I knew they were just a scam. The last call I got today, I told them there was no one here by the name they had for my relative.  They always only use his first name.  The last call on the caller ID had 6042 as the last 4 digits.  I hung up on them.  My relative does have an Eddie Bauer account. However, they have not contacted him about anything and he does not have an overdue balance. With their persistence we probably will just have to not answer the phone when I see it is a 614-729 number.  Will be interesting to see how long they continue to call.

Isent an email to Eddie Bauer to let them know how this number is using them.  Will let you know what they reply

In addition to Express, Limited, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, they are also the bank for Spiegel and Newport News catalogue accounts.  If you are late on a payment.....that would be why they are calling.

I just got my first call from them tonight so I googled the number and found this website. It said it was "World Financial Bank" in regards to several different clothing store brands like: Express, Victoria's Secret, Pac-Sun etc. So maybe if you have a store credit card to one of these places, they will call you.

i receive calls from this number also and i called it back and it's the world financial network national bank (or something like that) - if you have a victoria's secret card or express card (or any other credit card that is associated with this bank), it is this bank calling you about your bill.  they are VERY quick about calling you if your card is past due, and are also VERY quick to call collections so pay your bill! :)

This phone number belongs to what I believe is called the WFNNB, although I am unsure of what the acronym stands for.
They will contact you if you have an Express Card (in regards to the clothing store Express), Bath & Body, The Limited, and/or Victoria Secrets. All of these stores are known as "Limited Brands."
I asked the woman on the phone if I was in danger of having bad credit. I wasn't. The minute you miss one payment, they will contact you about the missing payment. If I understand correctly, the next step is contacting a creditor.
In addition, the woman I spoke with said that this number may come up with different area codes, as some are stationed in Colorado or Ohio.

Depending on the state you live in, it may or may not be legal for the customer service representatives to leave a message containing financial information on a machine (which of course is VERY irritating!). I'm from Pennsylvania and supposedly they have this law here.
